Beautiful property, scenic. Although it wasn’t clear that we could not go into the castle at all unless we signed up for a tour and there were no tours available until after we checked out the next day.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days during mid-June and the pool filter was broken such that the pool was unusable during our entire stay. For a remote place with limited amenities in the immediate area this was very limiting and certainly detracted from the experience that it should have been. The staff was gracious and did compensate by providing us a free spa usage which was a welcome experience. In addition, the meals we had during our stay at the facility were excellent.

We loved the tranquility of the area and the lovely staff. It was cold and very bad weather, but the room was warm ! We got a room upgrade, also! So nothing but good about this place!

Antico Borgo is simply paradise. The property is gorgeous, the rooms are stunning, breakfast and dinner are beyond excellent. The whole team running this gem of a hotel makes this pace even better. This was our 3rd stay and we can not wait to be back. Grazie mille !!

Tabiano Castello exceeded all of our expectations it is a very special place staffed by lovely people in a beautiful area of Italy that is great to travel thru.Tour parmesan and prosciutto manufacturers and see the gorgeous countryside We recommend it highly. Their restaraunt is also very good and staff is excellent!

This was the second time we stayed here and was just as good as the first time , great staff and very clean , lots to choose from at breakfast with a great view while you sit and eat with your cappuccino. While be back again no doubt.

The hotel is located in the Italian countryside , which offer breathtaking views. We enjoyed them very much in our evening walks. Our room was located in the old castle / monastery, that has been completely renovated to offer modern perks, such as air conditioning and a jacuzzi. The included breakfast buffet was generous and delicious. During our stay we also had a gourmet candlelight dinner in the attached restaurant, which was also delicious. Both places put on an emphasis on local dishes and products - some are even grown on the hotel grounds. The hotel offers a clean outdoor pool and spa, which we didn’t have time to try. The WiFi reception in our room didn’t work; however, that contributed to the relaxation feeling that we were looking for in this stay. One thing to be aware of is that besides the included breakfast, other things (water from the minibar, usage of the saunas and Turkish bath in the spa, bike rental) require an additional fee. We would have appreciated if some of these were included in the price (even at the expense of a slightly higher base price).

This is a truly unique place to stay in a magnificent area. Accommodation Is very true to the original buildings. Staff are very real and accommodating. The restaurant on the terrace is superb and very reasonably priced. So good that I have recommended our customers to stay there.

We stayed here for a night instead of staying in Parma. The castle is one of the oldest castles in Europe. The breakfast is great. We didn’t have enough time to take full advantage of all the castle has to offer, such as the spa and the grounds, but it did feel like a nice getaway on our honeymoon. The restaurant in the hotel was also pretty good. The service, as in many places in Italy, was not great but we had 2 pasta dishes that were very good. And given that there isn’t much more around the hotel, it was our only option. We did hear the outlets in Fidenza are good- so check those out nearby (30 min drive) if you like shopping.

First of all I would like to thank the friendly and efficient staff, especially Jessica at the front desk. She communicated with us during a traffic jam which delayed us for two hours and waited for us at the property to ensure a smooth check-in. Thank you! The location is relaxing, rustic and well-kept. Great as a weekend getaway, close to thermal baths and vineyards but also far from noise and stress! The room was tastefully decorated, and fresh thanks to two nice windows. I cannot say if the rooms become very hot in the summer, but in this period it was delightful. No elevators, obviously. Castle! The breakfast room is the restaurant that also serves lunch and dinner - warm and well decorated preserving the rustic chic aesthetic. Great selection of homemade cakes and croissants, and savoury options. Dinner was lovely as well - great local wines and cured meats! We wish we could have also taken advantage of the spa and wellness facilities but we only stayed for one night so... we will be back! Thank you!!

We stayed at the hotel overnight as a stopover between Verona and the cinque terre. The location of the hotel is very good and impressive atop the hill with the castle. The sunset view from the church nearby was stunning! The hotel itself is relatively average; it feels a bit dated and cold. We stayed in a deluxe room which was pretty basic, other than the view from the main room and the bathroom. A very annoying buzzing noise came from the electrical switch which was pretty painful! We had dinner at the restaurant which was fine, nothing spectacular. Nothing too bad, and fine for an overnight but wouldn’t stay there much longer.
