This was one of our favorite places we statyed at during our long Italian vacation. The atmosphere here with the piazzas at night was amazing. We really felt like we were living the best Italian life here - there was just enough activity in Campo de Fiore that it felt fun and vibrant and the quietness of Piazza Farnese made it feel like home and peaceful. We loved it!
I am used to more space in the rooms coming from the US - but the room had everything that we needed - it was clean, quiet, and we knew that Francesco was there for anything that we neeeded.

Francesco, the host, was exceptional. He answered so many of my questions and booked us our taxi to leave for the airport. There was another Piazza one block away that had restaurants that lined it and an open market in the centre each day. We were able to walk to the Pantheon (8 minutes), Trevi fountain (20 minutes), the Spanish stairs (25 minutes) but took the bus to Vatican City (15 minutes).
It had an Expresso machine and a kettle, but didn’t have any tea bags. Good thing that we brought our own!

The room on the upper floor of the apartment was very clean and spacious. It had lots of natural light from large windows overlooking the piazza. The apartment is in a very central location and within walking distance of many places of interest as well as several good restaurants. The area is very lively at night and we felt safe walking around in this area. On our second day we moved to the upper room, which was far better and nicer than the one on the ground floor
The room on the lower floor, which we had originally been booked, was quite humid. It had a door opening on to an internal court yard which was dark and surrounded by high walls and was too cold to enjoy in winter. The room had a musty smell due to the humidity. We therefore had to move out and go to the upper room which was great and we could then enjoy the rest of our stay in Rome. Francesco was very understanding and helpful.
