About this apartment rental
Il Bozzino is one of the two apartments located in Villa il Giuggiolo, an old rustic farmhouse whose oldest part is probably from the 1500s.
On the edge of a quiet country village it is completely autonomous and independent, with a large private garden shaded from trees.
It has its own independent access, private parking and a garden of about 700m2 which extends from the entrance to the living room to the shared swimming pool.
The 3 bedrooms are spacious and allow the use of additional beds on request.
The house is easily reachable with a comfortable well-maintained road that leads to the entrance of the property and is located a short distance from our restaurant, from fantastic grocery stores and a few minutes from the center of Cortona, a well-known medieval town, supermarkets, ATMs, and train station.
The Cortona area is very central: you can reach places such as Montepulciano, Pienza, Monticchiello, Lucignano, Arezzo, Lake Trasimento, Perugia, Corciano, in about 30 minutes by car, other places such as Orvieto, Siena, Montalcino, Val D'orcia , Assisi, Spello, in about 60 minutes or less. Florence is about 1 hour and a half and Rome is also less than 2 hours.
The interior of the house is well cared for, with traditional antique furniture and the kitchen is well equipped with plenty of dishes and glasses as well as pots pans and various equipment.

We stayed at the Bozzino for 1 week in June.Large house, with spacious bedrooms. Very large garden with attractive terrace.Nice large pool, beautifully situated.Contact with owner was fine, he responded very quickly. Minus point: no air conditioning, though a fan in each bedroom.Kitchen on the small side for 6 people.

Our apartment was spacious and comfortable. The setting is bucolic and peaceful centrally located to all the sites and activities we wanted to see. We also attended a cooking class with Michele’s mother which was delightful.

We hebben een fantastische tijd gehad in de woning. Een heel fijn zwembad en veel ruimte om het huis.
In de ochtend wakker worden en buiten zitten terwijl je Cortona tegen de heuvel ziet liggen. Echt een Toscaanse topper!
Speciaal compliment naar de eigenaar Michele. Wat een aardige vent. Erg leuk contact gehad, en altijd open voor vragen of suggesties.
Klein puntje van aandacht was een hondenkennel in de buurt van het huisje. Op gezette tijden gingen alle honden even blaffen. Ik moet zeggen dat je er snel aan went, en het heeft ons zelden nachtrust gekost. Verder wordt er aan een oplossing gewerkt voor dit gegeven. Goed te doen dus.
Al met al een heel prettige plek!

Michele was a great host. The house and property were amazing. We loved spending time at the pool and on the patio after a long day of sightseeing. Would not hesitate to stay here again!!!!
