The Heart of Tuscany Found in Carola’s Home

Carola is the best host! She is incredibly kind and thoughtful — I was truly impressed. I visited with my child without a car, and she came to pick us up at the train station and even drove us to the city of Cortona. She always welcomed us with a warm smile, and her house is beautiful and spotless. It has everything you need and is so peaceful. She even gave us snacks and wine as a gift — we enjoyed them very much. I would love to come back and stay longer next time to explore more of the Tuscany region. Carola’s home is the perfect place to experience the real Italy and to feel how genuinely warm and caring Italian people are. Thank you so much, Carola!

Absolutely outstanding value for the price, you must stay at La Renaia!

The property was beautiful and clean. The welcome basket and wine was a wonderful surprise, Everything at the property is thoughtfully supplied from the spare toothbrushes. Olive oil, coffee pods, umbrellas, playing cards, the list goes on.

The main bed could have been softer, but everything else was amazing.

A wonderful place for a wonderful holiday in Italy

The best place we stayed in during our travels. We had the "Il Grande" apartment and had plenty of space to ourselves. The beds were very large and comfortable, with extra pillows and blankets. The apartment had a fully equipped kitchen, and we were given a welcome basket and wine. There's a washing machine and clothes dryers on site, a swimming pool, and plenty of activities for sports enthusiasts and children. The place is also perfect for nature lovers, as it's surrounded by fields and walking trails. The owner was very kind and helpful. We were very sad to leave and hope to return someday.

Great Hospitality

Our charming 2nd floor apartment with a terrace was comfortable, well equipped. The AC worked very well in the rooms, the beds were comfortable, the place is quiet, making for restful nights! Being welcomed with two bottles of wine and a basket filled with pastries / goodies was more than we could have imagined. During the day, we took advantage of the many available activities - pool table, foostable, swimming pool, ping pong, tennis and more. The facilities are filled with history and Tuscan charm, and the host and women who worked there could not be more welcoming. Cortona is very close by, as well as many other small towns; numerous supermarkets around. And, last but not least, having the ability to park the car under a covered roof was very welcome.

It was very hard to leave! Planning on another trip in the future.

Highly recommend, a lovely agriturismo that never disappoints!

La Renaia is an agriturismo that is quite lovely. The property is peaceful yet about 10 minutes from Cortona and has easy access to the highway. The rooms are beautiful with king size beds, tables and chairs, a spacious bathroom with a large walk-in shower and has both a front patio and back patio so you can sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine from your room. We have stayed here twice in the past and it never disappoints. Signor Carrolla is the ultimate host and a very gracious lady indeed. Rooms are equipped with coffee makers (espresso, cappucino and American style coffee makers) along with small assorted goodies for munching. The rooms also have a refrigerator which is kept stocked with essentials and plates, pots, and small burners if you want to make something in your room. The property has laundry facilities, a pool, tennis courts and table tennis.

Nothing comes to mind. It is a great place.

Lovely stay near Cortona

Lovely agriturismo near Cortona, tucked away in a secluded area. The location is excellent — perfect for exploring the surrounding region by car. Carola is very kind and a fantastic host, making sure you enjoy every moment of your stay. Our room was super comfortable and spotless, equipped with everything we needed: a huge, cozy bed; a kitchenette and fridge stocked with breakfast essentials; a coffee machine with capsules, and more. The bathroom was spacious and well-supplied with toiletries. There was even a patio. Parking was conveniently located right in front of the room, with shade. We’d gladly return anytime!

Amazing experience.

Really lovely place. So many facilities for games and fun when you are having downtime from exploring. It was great for our family of two adults and two teenagers. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment and it was huge. Carola and her team were wonderful.

Everything. Could not fault it. This is an outstanding stay. Incredible facilities, absolutely fabulous owner who went above and beyond to assist. We will return to Cortona to just stay here! This was out first trip to Italy, but we would daily return here to make the a base for 5 days to explore the area.

Gorgeous, everything is done with attention to details (from quality cooking appliances, having daily cleaning and private patio), a great host and outdoor pool. Well worth for what you paid

Though La Renaia is located at the outskirt of Cortona, it is only a few minutes' drive to reach the center. The facilite and cleanliness of establishment are perfect. Despite the fact that breakfast is not the booking, drinks, snacks, coffee and milk are well stocked in the room for guests. Merit shall go to Carola and her staff for effort well done. I will recommend the Arigturismo to all who wish to visit the region and would like to thank Carola for her assistance in sorting out the problem with my car.

The perfect little get-away location! So many things to do on the property - tennis, table-tennis, soccer, chickens, geese, pool table, games, etc. etc.! It was so nice to do laundry too! The accommodation was spacious, clean and the little details done made you feel at home away from home - the perfect stay in Italy! Carola was so personable, welcoming and gracious! Next time we are definitely staying longer!!

The location is great. You have Cortona within a 5 minute drive and good supermarkets very near. We had inter connecting rooms which worked perfectly with our 2 teenage daughters. Air con is fabulous. Amazing swimming pool and other facilities. Lovely owners. Everything provided including breakfast items, coffee etc. and wine. Lovely outdoor space. We had a super week here. Very quiet at night- slept so well! Excellent value for money.

Lovely place near Cortona

The place was really nice with good facilities: pool tennis court, table tennis, small gym and billiards. We stayed in Il Grande, which was very beautiful and clean. There is a lovely dining area in the living room for 6 people. You also have nice patio with four chairs and a table. There are also two deck chairs for relaxing. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need. The host is so friendly and lovely. We really recommend this place!

Paradise ☀️

This is a truly lovely place to stay. Location is amazing, in a very close distance (approx 15 min drive) from Cortona. Our apartment was very comfortable, nicely arranged and equipped with everything you need, including a stocked fridge and a cupboard with snacks for breakfast. We could also enjoy our morning coffee and dinner on the terrace. The farm is extremely well maintained, serene and relaxing with the olive trees and local vineyard. Outdoor pool was an every day must-visit for us and such a great addition to our wonderful stay. Carla, our host is absolutely amazing. Grazie Carla 😊. We felt welcome at every moment of our stay. We will definitely come back one day.

The landlord was exceptionally kind, very open minded and welcomed us in the best possible way. We really enjoyed our stay! Lovely place to relax

Carola is the sweetest host ever and she helped us rent a car and get to the train station. Our room was very comfy and we liked having a little courtyard in the back. The pool is also great for relaxing and it was nice to have some items for breakfast and coffee.

The trash can was a bit small so we felt it was always overflowing. Also we thought the breakfast items would be replenished but it is a one time thing FYI.

This stay would have been ideal if I had a car but the host was very accommodating for me as a solo traveler! Got me to and from the train station, and even helped me get to Cortona for a day visit. The property itself was deeply serene. I loved listening to the birds in the early morning. Also, great snacks and treats provided! And a great market less than a mile away I was able to walk to. I will be thinking about La Renaia frequently and dreaming of my next stay!

Homely and comfortable stay but only 5 minutes drive from Cortona. Loved it!

A beautiful farmstay in an excellent location. Traditional rustic accommodation which was exceptionally clean, warm and cosy (it was November). We had the upstairs apartment and access to the outdoor terrace from our kitchen which was lovely. Our host was delightful. Very comfortable bed. Lovely touches like sweets on the hall table and milk / water / yogurt and breakfast items provided. Hadn't realised that Cortona (5 minutes away) was such a wonderful place to explore, so a great find for us.

This is such a beautiful place! Super, super clean! Little individual self contained rooms with EVERYTHING you need for a stay! The host is lovely, the grounds are so well maintained and the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful! Plenty of parking for a UK to Italy courier van like mine! Well stocked fridge and cupboard for breakfasts! Very very impressed!
