Revellino Del Porto is one of those places you don’t easily forget. Staying there in February felt special, the building itself carries so much history, and you can sense it in every detail. It’s not just beautiful, it has a real character.
And the views over Chania’s old port, absolutely stunning. Morning coffee and sunset both felt magical. If you love places with character, this is truly something rare.

The view of the harbor could not be better. It was also a very private very large deck area that we enjoyed.
parking in high season might be a challenge, but we were able to find parking every time we needed it with just a few minutes wait in the free lot very close by.

We had the most amazing stay here in early September. Before I mention anything else, the daily free breakfast included at Pulse Vegan cafe around the corner absolutely made the trip. We didn't even realise this was included until after we'd booked! The owner is incredible and prepares the most delicious breakfasts - she would regularly bring extra cakes and breakfast loaves that she'd baked that morning and wanted us to try for free. Even if you're not vegan, you'll love the food - there are pancakes, gyros, vegan omelette, chia pudding, juices, iced coffee etc. It's less than a minute walk from the door of the apartment too, so very convenient.
I also cannot emphasise enough how perfect the location is. You wake up to a beautiful sea view and it feels completely peaceful, but you're still in the old town and less than a 1 minute walk from restaurants, bars, shops etc. The actual street you use to access the house is cute and picturesque as well. We'd often sit on the balcony at night watching the lights of the restaurants and bars around the harbour with a glass of wine after dinner. It's the perfect balance of peaceful but still in the heart of the old town. The mattress in the master bedroom is extremely comfortable as well so we had a great night's sleep every night. I would 100% stay here again on our next trip to Chania.
Our only small suggestion would be for a washing machine to be installed at the property - it was fine as we were only there a week and had a hotel with laundry service during our second week in Crete. There are also launderettes nearby so it's not a huge problem.

Kalliopi was wonderful and very helpful. She met us when we arrived and walked us through the details of the apartment. The location is amazing! Probably the best view in the entire old town of Chania and close to everything. We appreciated the fruits that were left for us to enjoy.
There were a lots of stairs, but we managed since we had carry-on luggage that was not too heavy. Otherwise, it could be an issue to bring heavy suitcases up those stairs without help.
