Church Lane Cottage

Lovely comfortable cottage with all amenities in an ideal location to access Hafren Forest and Llyn Clywedog. Located in a friendly and delightful town, plenty of places to eat on the doorstep.

Great location - very close to town and river park for dog walks. Cosy cottage. Had everything we needed for a long weekend. The owner was lovely with great communication. Lots of hot water and good facilities. Very clean and comfortable. Would recommend!

WiFi kept going on and off but it wasn't really a problem.

The parking isn’t private,it’s a public carpark”first come first served” The stairs are very steep and circular. There’s no “crib sheet” containing information such as “ WiFi code”,location of the back doors keys(which we needed as it was 33 Degrees! and unbearable!)we found these on the day of departure under some oven gloves! We couldn’t leave the front door open as it opens directly onto the pavement-which is very busy with people coming and going to the public carpark! The back yard is a tip,nowhere to sit outside. The pub at the bottom of the road is very noisy and the local like to make a lot of noise shouting and swearing while walking past the front door on the way to the very public carpark! I didn’t bother trying to contact the host as previously had tried on several occasions to contact Ruth without an answer even through Booking.com! I know others have said many positive comments regarding this property,that’s one of the reasons I booked it! My criticism is fair and unbiased. Nothing written here is untrue. I won’t be back.
