Great location and fantastic that parking was available for all, good mix of beds for a friends group. Comfy seating in lounge.

Would benefit from an additional toilet given number of people it can accommodate, some maintenance needed, wardrobe door not secure.

It’s was a lovely stone cottage lots of parking.

It had few basic details, it would have been better if there was black pepper seller not empty, decaf coffee as well as standard. Shower hair and body wash. The Christmas decorations were a bit on the miserable side. The fire is unavailable but in property features it is available. Felt that they had stopped the fire being available permanently, believe it should be removed as a feature.

Great location in town centre.Off street parking. Comfortable and roomy cottage with all facilities. Very dog friendly with secure yard and open space nearby.

Some windows rattled but the sheltered location keeps general noise down despite the nearby main road.

Very good communications. The property is spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice-looking outside area which would be great in summer weather. Easy walk into the town centre avoiding the main road.

Super showers , NETFLIX, comfy sofas and terrific location..

Insecure draughty windows. Radiators needed servicing as some didn’t work. Recycling facility needed. More crockery and cutlery needed

Only one bathroom/toilet for 7 isn't great. Some small cosmetic things could be addressed e.g. no plug in the basin in the family room.

Just Fabulous !

A beautiful property, everything you could possibly need was there including ice cubes in the freezer ! Pleanty of room to accommodate us all . We will definately be back in the summer when we will be able to enjoy the outside space and BBQ

Cosy and comfortable, very close to Town.

Easy walk to town, shops, restaurants, and Burghley House. The house is spacious and comfortable and Rutland is lovely to visit.

Need larger pans and something to use in the oven, we bought a pyrex dish, we went out lots so it wasn't a great problem but we did struggle to cook for 4.

Good location for the George hotel and easy walk into town. Quiet as set well back from the road

There was a strong smell of fish when we arrived. We had to air the property on arrival but it lingered over the weekend. The decor was tired, some of the fittings were loose and falling off such as the fire surround with nails showing. It is in need of some basic maintenance. The garden patio area was untidy and not cleaned in a while. To use it would have meant cleaning it down . Our family also rented other properties this weekend and they were far superior for the same pricing and across the river.

TV randomly turned itself on, we arrived, put bags down and immediately went back out for dinner, went nowhere near the TV but when we returned it was on... might be haunted!

A brilliant stay in the perfect location.

The perfect location, spotlessly clean, comfortable sofas, plenty of space for everyone attending. It was a lovely treat to be there for our friends 40th. I think it’s even better in real life than the photos 😊 we loved walking into the town for dinner which was a very easy and short route. Thank you, we’d certainly recommend and would book again.

I couldn’t connect to the WiFi with the details provided. No biggie as only there for 1 night but might need double checking that the details are correct. I couldn’t get parked in the car park noted in the instructions as it was full. I called up and the owner assured me this was very unusual. I’m not sure what was going on but I kept checking and it never emptied out while we were there. I parked in a car park at the top of the lane but it doesn’t belong to the property owners so it wasn’t an ideal solution. A small hiccup in an otherwise wonderful stay.

The location of the property was good and suited our needs.

The pictures of this property are quite misleading especially the garden/courtyard. This area obviously hadn't been cleaned, swept or maintained for many months as it was very weedy and covered with pine needles and the furniture was covered with hardened pigeon poo. The bbq was rusted and unfit for purpose. The windows were in need of a good clean. The interior and furniture was ok but looking tired. Mould over the bathroom ceiling and an extactor fan blocked with dust is unacceptable. Clearly the housekeeper isn't up to par.

It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Certainly big enough for 6 people. The location was perfect, with Stamford a short pleasant walk and very close to Burghley house and park

Needs some TLC as starting to look and feel dated, broken door handle, strip lights in the bedroom, grubby sofa. Shower is not great, and we could only get it to be very hot or cold, could be dangerous for children.

Property better suits a small family rather than a couple although just one bathroom may be a limiting factor. Location

Very quiet location. Free parking nearby. Large external and internal space. Generally very well equipped.

Courtyard gate wasn’t very secure. Patio doors didn’t lock other than a single deadlock. Fluorescent strip lights in the large bedroom. Mattress was very firm. Shower cuts out at high temperature but ok if you wind it back. Garden furniture is ready for an upgrade.
