The Old Seed Store

It was central, quiet and clean. Parking opposite was useful. The host provided everything that was needed for a two night stay including coffee, tea and sugar. Bring your own milk.

Very good location, massive room at top of property and opposite was a large car park free from 6pm to 8am. Interior with exposed beams was stunning, comfy bed and nice biscuits. Good shower. Lots of good restaurants in Stamford which is a beautiful town, ended up at the George Hotel twice as food and service was so good. Opposite is a park which I didng get time to look at, but its good to have somewhere close as if I wasnt doing a show and standing all day I would have had a walk every night. Didnt spend any daytime in Stamford but I noticed it had some very high end clothing shops and seems very up market which is great and noticed them setting up a very big street market on Friday morning with fruit and veg. Need to come back and look round when im not working. Interesting it had a washing machine that really is handy for me as I did wash some clothes , for someone who travels alot really useful. Hey it was great only a freezer compartment would help as use cool blocks in travel box for my lunch and we had crazy hot weather at the Rutland Bird Fair, but not an issue so please dont worry. Would stay again though definitely. Checking team numbers and may book for everyone next year.

Communication issues , need a bit more other than that a hob of some sort instead of f a microwave , ice compartment or some kind of ice maker 🤔 just a thought .

Perfect location . Lovely interior

The property is on a busy road & whilst I knew this, I feel that the bedroom windows should be more insulated against noise & light from traffic & people walking by, especially on Friday/ Saturday nights, which kept us awake until the early hours. Property could have been cleaner & bathroom would definitely benefit from a Repaint & update of showering sealing.
