Bugs, mold and weird ladies

It’s pretty close to the city, about a 15 minute train ride away. The apartment has functional AC that heats up the place very well, very quickly. Across the street on the corner there is a good pizzeria with the over Sam who helped us when we first came to the apartment.

When we first arrived, we were greeted by a lady who asked us if we want an Airbnb. We said no since we booked this apartment. I went to get the key from the lockbox and the key was not there so we started to panic, luckily we had internet from Sam (nice pizza shop owner) to contact the property. The same lady who asked us if we want an Airbnb came and told us she had the key. WHY DID WE GET A LOCKBOX THEN? The whole thing felt really weird and unsafe. The apartment was just one very small room, which we knew from the pictures. The internet in the apartment was also a problem. There is a card with the name of the WiFi and password but it’s not the internet you use in the apartment. So again, WHY IS THE CARD THERE IF THAT IS NOT THE INTERNET? The apartment was dirty, the only thing clean was the bed and the floor. All of the cutlery in the kitchen was filthy and needed to be rewashed, but with some of the knifes and pots, especially glasses, they haven’t been washed for a long long time so it was impossible to scrub them. We also didn’t have access to the balcony as advertised (you see in a picture below that the pull for the blinds was cut) the bathroom was really dirty, the shower had little black bugs in it and the walls had mold growing. It’s definitely an overcharged apartment and the experience was horrible, I would not recommend staying here. Just pick another place.

Comfortable apartment on the outskirts of Milan

Very close to a train station with quick connection to Milan in 20 minutes, really nice host, apartment was comfortable and well equipped

Sound proofing is pretty poor, you could hear everything from the upstairs neighbour

Exceptional

Very cozy and clean room, the host was very nice and helpful. The neighborhood is quiet, clean and there's a pizzeria right next to the building. Even if the area is quite far from the city center, the public transport is amazingly fast and comfortable. There's a bus station in 4 minutes walking distance, connecting to the M3 metro station.

The host was very very sweet, accommodating and friendly! There were snacks, tea and coffee provided. Microwave, stove and a fridge. Toiletries, towel...etc. Everything you need for a stay!
