About this villa rental
Lovely villa with private pool located in Pollensa, Mallorca, in the countryside but just at a short walking distance of the lovely town. There is a parking place, a beautitful pool with sunloungers and a covered terrace that leads into the property. Inside, there is a nice dining and living room with a charming fireplace, and a graceful kitchen to the right. To the left there is a bathroom, a door open to the side terrace, where there is a tennis table, and stairs to the first floor, where there are a bathroom and two comfortable bedrooms. A beautiful place to relax and enjoy the town at the same time.
The beautiful beach, with crystal clear waters of Cala Sant Vicente are only 6 kilometres away.
It should be noted that we have fiber optics with high speed internet to be able to telework. We have recycling bins to take care of the environment.

Puerto de Pollença is located in the north of Mallorca. The bay offers kilometres of fine sandy beaches, some of which are protected from the wind by the Formentor peninsula. Unlike other holiday resorts on Mallorca, the coast is not completely built up with multi-storey hotel castles. Here you will find long sandy beaches lined with pine and palm trees, a wide choice of cafés and restaurants and some excellent hotels.
The town's landmark is the 365 steps and the Calvario, at the top of which is the small 18th century baroque chapel. Each step symbolises a day of the year.
Pollença's historic atmosphere hosts many cultural events and music festivals.

We enjoyed to stay in this very nice house situated in the outskirts of Pollença. We had walking distance to the centre of the town, where there were many nice restaurants. We loved the garden with the pool and beautiful surroundings. A great place to stay if you want to discover the northern part of Mallorca as it was close to many nice places to visit in the north west part of the island.

This villa is really beautiful 😊 😊 😊 with enough space for the whole family, it was the perfect place to enjoy together, whether by the pool, on the terraceexploring the surroundings. I also find that it is only a few minutes from the town and beaches, yet secluded enough to enjoy the peace and natural beauty of Mallorca, it is the perfect retreat to unwind and recharge your batteries. Great location. Walking distance to Pollenca and bus stop 3 minutes away with regular buses to Porto Pollenca, Alcudia and even Palma.

Stayed August 2024 with family.
Pros:
Pool was lovely.
Well maintained garden.
Good sun loungers.
Good shade on the terrace during heatwave.
Lovely view of the mountains.
Very easy access to Pollenca old town
and port pollenca.
Nice bottle of red wine and some water in the welcome pack. Thank you.
Cons:
Slightly tired accommodation, needs a bit of TLC and modernisation inside (there is a new downstairs shower room which was nice).
Noisy air con in bedrooms.
Noisy water pump right below master bedroom which kept us awake, did flag this but nothing was dealt with.
Very noisy dog next door for a couple of nights barking solidly for a few hrs 2-4am ish which kept us awake (this was reported and I think dealt with as dog was a lot quieter afterwards, however other reviews have mentioned this dog and selfish neighbour as well).
Could do with more tools for the BBQ, had to use kitchen utensils.
Living room couch needs leg replacing, currently it’s on an angle.
One of the pins in the 3 hinges on the front door fell out on our last day, managed to get it back in but this needs addressing.
Bottom dishwasher tray doesn’t fit in the dishwasher properly when half full of dishes so need to run it with just a few items.
Could have done with some dish washing fluid.
Overall:
Even with a few shortcomings we still had a nice stay at this villa. Just feels like it could be a fabulous place once these issues have been fully addressed.
