Authentic and cozy

The place looks way nicer in real life as on photos presented. Very authentic and was super clean! We only stayed on night, it was a great experience. Check in was smooth and the view was amazing. It’s also walkable from the city - took us about 40 minutes to climb.

There is a church ringing bells every hour (also during the night!!!) so was impossible to sleep 😑 Maybe it does not happen daily, but better check before booking.

Location, but the view is only available in some rooms.

Very basic. Single beds in one bedroom very uncomfortable. NO AIR-CONDITIONING with temperature of 35 degrees. No toiletries. Very stingy with coffee, not enough for 4 people. Not enough parking spaces for all guests.

Great place to stay and have some rest!

The property was spacious for two people. They even made sure we had breakfast and the fridge was filled with milk and juices to our surprise! The kitchen is very well equipped and the house is in excellent state. We were very surprised by how nice it was. It’s about 30 minute walk from the trainstation. So close enough to get everything from the city you need and just far enough to have peace and quiet, just what we wanted. Would 10/10 recommend!

The living room could have warmer light but this is a very very minor detail! With those views nobody would complain!

The bathroom is great. The garden and inside apartment is nice and the outside old structure is excellent and have a good feel of old italian building.. internet connection is great. Very generous of breakfast compliment.

The location is good, with a fantastic view of the town and valley. However it is a long walk up the mountain to get to the house from the train station with virtually no other way of getting there barring a car.

Beautiful experience

The accommodation is ideal for all lovers of ethnography. In the apartment no.2 the atmosphere of the past is combined with all the needs of modern life. The whole area is also beautifully decorated with a sense for preservation of antiques and the beauty of nature (flowers, green plants). The view of the village bellow and the town Domodossola in the valley is fantastic. Thanks to the owner for the basket of food and water, yogurt, juice and milk in the fridge. It was a great experience.

The parking is not right at the house and it is a bit slippery when raining.

Beautiful accommodation!

The accommodation was beautiful and full of character as it was such an old building. However, the bathroom and kitchen are completely modernised so it was convenient as well and fully equipped. The old wooden floor of the bedroom moved and creaked a lot when walked on (I know this is normal) but it was still a bit uncomfortable! Quick communication and easy self check-in - highly recommended!

Cute apartments in the hills above Domodossola. Not easily accessible without a car unless you enjoy the hike up/down the hill. Worked well for us as our goal was to spend time in the mountains and this place is located above the city on the way into the mountains. Maybe not idea for people looking to spend time in domodossola center.

Ancient charming ossola bourg aparment

The location is very cozy and quiet: just few kms from domodossola with a magnificent view of the small city. The apartment we stay is part of an ancient bourg dated back to 1600 (that was the date reported on top of the keystone of the fireplace), completely renovated by Monica and her husband over time. The apartment was a 2 rooms (kitchen and bedroom) plus private bathroom with a warm shower available, displaced on two floors. The hosts were very friendly and they kindfully provide us at arrival all that was required for a breakfast or later tea hour. The location is very strategic to reach any of the ossola's lateral valleys within an hour trip max. We feel better than home! Thanks!

Struttura caratteristica e ben recuperata, immersa in un bel borgo con vista sulle montagne e Domodossola.

Camera da letto non insonorizzata: tutti i rumori del piano superiore si sentivano terribilmente e questo ha compromesso il riposo nostro e del nostro bimbo. Dotazioni per la colazione quasi assenti (nessun bar nelle vicinanze, sarebbe stata gradita una caffettiera funzionante).

Ottima posizione, non distante dal centro di Domodossola ma comunque fuori dal caos. Alloggio spazioso e molto silenzioso. Suggestiva la panoramica.

Ho richiesto la fattura per il soggiorno, sia preannunciando la richiesta prima dello stesso, sia successivamente con richieste telefoniche e attraverso messaggi su booking e sul whatsapp dei gestori. A oggi (una settimana dalla richiesta) non ho ricevuto nulla. Faccio notare che la fattura mi è stata espressamente richiesta booking per ottenere il rimborso per una precedente prenotazione cancellata da booking stesso (non da me), credo per sopravvenuta indisponibilità della struttura precedentemente prenotata. Ritengo pessima (almeno nel mio caso) la gestione dell'assistenza post soggiorno della struttura Il Borgo di Monica. Ed è un peccato perché l'alloggio è davvero carino

Bello e suggestivo per chi vuole alloggiare in un posto nel verde, con una vista mozzafiato!

Il Borgo di Monica è pazzesco, immerso nella natura, vista fantastica. Peccato essere arrivati con il buio, perchè la mattina dopo era molto suggestivo. Letti imbastiti, biancheria da bagno fornita, caffè, zucchero, olio, sale. Insomma, molto accogliente. Dotato anche di smart TV.

Faceva troppo troppo freddo: il termostato era bloccato, non permetteva di alzare il riascaldamento. Fuori le temperature erano basse e abbiamo avuto davvero molto freddo dentro la casa, il che ha reso il soggiorno poco comfortevole, purtroppo. Solo per questo, se dovessi scegliere questo alloggio nuovamente in un periodo freddo, non lo farei o chiederei preventivamente di alzare i riscaldamenti.

Appartamento 2: Doccia con porte difettose che non si chiudono, pavimento in pietra del piano terra sporco, odore di umido/bruciato nel soggiorno, pavimento della camera da letto in legno che si muoveva al passaggio di una persona di 65kg (con tanto di chicchi di riso incastrati tra le travi). Troppo caldo e assenza di ventilatori e zanzariere per poter tenere aperte le finestre. Campanile nelle vicinanze insopportabile. Materasso e cuscini scomodi. Il frigo ha smesso di funzionare di punto in bianco (e comunque non raffreddava neanche a dovere al nostro arrivo). Poca privacy. Personale pressoché inesistente, non c’è nessuno per il check in e per il check out. Ci hanno detto che ci sarebbero venuti incontro per via del guasto al frigo ma non si sono più fatti sentire. Il parcheGigi adiacente non è sempre disponibile e bisogna andare nella piazza più in alto. Rapporto qualità prezzo sproporzionato ai massimi livelli

Fijne dagen gehad in het appartement.

Mooie locatie, appartement in een mooi oud pand. Binnen blijft het heerlijk koel, terwijl het buiten warm is. Rustige, landelijke omgeving. De badkamer is recent opgeknapt en van alle gemakken voorzien, zoals een regendouche en bidet.

Het lukte niet om de eigenaren te bereiken om iets na te vragen. De televisie werkte niet goed (maar was voor mij geen probleem) en de keuken is niet erg goed uitgerust als je wilt koken.
