Nice but could've been better.

Room was nice, spacious and clean. There was free coffee and a water bottle which was really nice to see. Lovely location and easy to find. Plenty of space to park. Lounge was really cozy. Lovely walks available and really nice pubs around.

The hotel needs a bit of a revamp. Little things like the carpet and the bathroom. They have a worn down feeling. The room I stayed in was nice but in the morning, most likely because of the wind, there was a noise (sounded like someone practicing an organ) which woke me up.

The Setting away from built up areas. Sadly the top room didn't have a window for ventilation and for a view. Breakfast was adequate. Friendly staff. Comfy bed

The location and the hotel grounds are beautiful. The room was very clean, The bed was comfy and slept well. Scrambled eggs for breakfast were gorgeous

The water for the bath took around 5 minutes to get warm, & then it was just a trickle.. The staff said.. "it's an old building" very true but things need to be fit for purpose. Only other niggle, you can hear other guests using the toilet 🙈 Slightly off putting.

A lovely place, so peaceful. The breakfast was excellent. We have stayed here a few times and would not hesitate to stay again or recommend. We had a lovely view from the room of garden and alpacas.

No hot water so couldn’t have a shower, told staff and they looked at it said would sort, didn’t and no one spoke to us. When I checked out and mentioned again was promised a call back from management and haven’t received that call

Everything we needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast was lovely served by a pleasant member of staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the quietness and the grounds of the hotel were beautiful and well kept. We would definitely stay again perhaps for longer.

We stayed for evening meal, bed and breakfast. Meal was good - main course (fish) very good. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Nice clean bathroom, and shower worked well. Staff were friendly. Location was good for us (might be difficult with public transport) and grounds/surroundings very attractive. Great view from room! Overall, very comfortable and pleasant with a slightly old-fashioned feel. Would definitely recommend.

Peaceful location, perfect for a romantic getaway.

This is the third time we have stayed at this beautiful hotel, every time the staff are so welcoming and the rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast is freshly cooked and how you ask for it, lots of choice for both cereals and cooked items. It is lovely to sit and eat breakfast watching the alpacas and rabbits in the fields outside the hotel. The beds are very comfortable as well and the rooms are a perfect temperature, neither too hot nor too cold.

Beautiful scenery and bar not to expensive. Breakfast was lovely especially the scrambled eggs. The bed was comfortable.

Room needed decoration I.e paint skirting boards. Also was only one chair in room but booked as a couple so should be two (was a stool for dresser but not to sit on for an hour). Bedroom could do with a deep clean. Also no full length mirror.

A wonderful place to come and relax with top class food.

We had dinner, bed and breakfast. The dinner was superb, as was the wait staff. Breakfast was equally as good and pleasant room to dine in. The outlook was lovely with trees coming to life in Spring and llamas, peacocks - & Rabbits roaming around. Thoroughly enjoyable stay, thank you.
