Good value for money, great breakfast.

Lovely country hotel. Lovely large room. Great breakfast

There were two functions on in the hotel, unfortunately that meant they were unable to open the restaurant which was disappointing. The hotel is set in its own grounds and away from any nearby amenities.

Lovely place with alpacas roaming free

We had a fantastic stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The property was peaceful and perfectly located — away from the hustle and bustle, yet only a short drive to the shops and local amenities. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and a real highlight of our stay. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming throughout, making sure we had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. The surroundings were lovely, with alpacas roaming freely — such a unique and charming touch that really made the stay memorable. We would happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

Great location, warm welcome , lovely food.

Check in was very welcoming. Rooms were good. Evening meal was excellent, lovely fresh vegetables and a good selection. Breakfast was really good quality and a very nice porridge. Staff very helpful in ordering taxis and sorting us out. Very much appreciated.

This was a beautiful property in lovely grounds. A little bit isolated for my purposes, but I would stay there again.

I think the bar area could be made a little cozier, maybe with candles and a fire.

Nice but could've been better.

Room was nice, spacious and clean. There was free coffee and a water bottle which was really nice to see. Lovely location and easy to find. Plenty of space to park. Lounge was really cozy. Lovely walks available and really nice pubs around.

The hotel needs a bit of a revamp. Little things like the carpet and the bathroom. They have a worn down feeling. The room I stayed in was nice but in the morning, most likely because of the wind, there was a noise (sounded like someone practicing an organ) which woke me up.

The Setting away from built up areas. Sadly the top room didn't have a window for ventilation and for a view. Breakfast was adequate. Friendly staff. Comfy bed

Lovely location

The location and the hotel grounds are beautiful. The room was very clean, The bed was comfy and slept well. Scrambled eggs for breakfast were gorgeous

The water for the bath took around 5 minutes to get warm, & then it was just a trickle.. The staff said.. "it's an old building" very true but things need to be fit for purpose. Only other niggle, you can hear other guests using the toilet 🙈 Slightly off putting.

Restful and without any stress PERFECT

A lovely place, so peaceful. The breakfast was excellent. We have stayed here a few times and would not hesitate to stay again or recommend. We had a lovely view from the room of garden and alpacas.

Cosy room with some character, very well cooked breakfast, quiet surroundings and good view, very convenient location. Very helpful when I left behind an item of clothing. Friendly staff. Excellent value for money.

Lovely property but staff let down as didn’t sort the fact no hot water in too

Love the property as got married there

No hot water so couldn’t have a shower, told staff and they looked at it said would sort, didn’t and no one spoke to us. When I checked out and mentioned again was promised a call back from management and haven’t received that call

Everything we needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast was lovely served by a pleasant member of staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the quietness and the grounds of the hotel were beautiful and well kept. We would definitely stay again perhaps for longer.

We stayed for evening meal, bed and breakfast. Meal was good - main course (fish) very good. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Nice clean bathroom, and shower worked well. Staff were friendly. Location was good for us (might be difficult with public transport) and grounds/surroundings very attractive. Great view from room! Overall, very comfortable and pleasant with a slightly old-fashioned feel. Would definitely recommend.

Peaceful location, perfect for a romantic getaway.

This is the third time we have stayed at this beautiful hotel, every time the staff are so welcoming and the rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast is freshly cooked and how you ask for it, lots of choice for both cereals and cooked items. It is lovely to sit and eat breakfast watching the alpacas and rabbits in the fields outside the hotel. The beds are very comfortable as well and the rooms are a perfect temperature, neither too hot nor too cold.
