Birdsing Cottage

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house is beautiful, very clean, and well equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable holiday. Mrs. Maria is such a lovely and kind person, she was always ready to help us with anything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and we would definitely love to come back!

We were looking for a very relaxing family holiday with our three teenage daughters, and wanted to avoid hiring a car. This property was a 10/10 on every level. Birdsing House is a family home, which owner Maria presents thoughtfully for visiting guests. Maria herself is very welcoming and cannot do enough to help. The property is immaculate, neutrally decorated (more so than in the photos), and has everything you need (well-equipped kitchen, smart TVs if important to you, beach equipment) without being cluttered. The beds are comfortable and the bedlinen and towels are of high quality. Crucially, all the windows have mosquito screens and shutters; the bedrooms have aircon, and there are two standing fans in the very spacious, open-plan downstairs area. The house is in a large, private garden, with an airy west (?)-facing covered terrace, which allows for pleasant outdoors dining a few degrees cooler. Set sufficiently back from the main road to be very peaceful, the house is nonetheless within 8 mins walk of a clean, sandy beach, and a big, well-stocked supermarket; and 10 mins walk from a wide choice of shops, cafes and tavernas. The bus stop for trips to Corfu Town (25 mins; Eur2 each way) or elsewhere is in front of the supermarket. We felt very safe at all times.

Beautifully kept house and garden very close to the beach and facilities in Dassia. Our host was responsive and wonderfully helpful. Would gladly go back!

It is a big and clean house with own yard. Close to stores, close to beach. A lot of space inside of the house, a lot of space in the yard. All furniture is nice. The house equipped by air-conditioners. Very friendly and kind owner. It is definitely great place for stay in comfort for several days (weeks).
