Spiti Prokopis - Marilena House

Apartment: - Our 2nd floor apartment had 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets and a huge balcony that we loved spending time on. Also enough space to dry clothes for 4 adults. - Efficient building: never too hot or bright, easy to survive the heat of +28-29 even without AC (but there are 3 available) - Everything is pretty new and fresh - Regular cleaning and towel change, almost hotel-like feeling - We could use the washing machine when needed - Efficient communication with the owner, all issues we reported were fixed fast - Big selection of pillows to select from - Beach towels provided on request Location: - Fast transfer from the airport (35 min by taxi or around 1:15 with 2 buses) - 2-3 min to a very child/elderly-friendly beach, additional 5-7 min walk to reach the beach area with natural tree shade - Beach is both pebbly and sandy, your choice - Water sports stations available - Lots of cafes and reasonable prices for sun bed and umbrella rent on the beach (but also possible to only use the towels) - Quick access to a great supermarket and bus stop - An all-inclusive hotel nearby (Elea Beach Hotel) where anyone can pay for a single meal and get access to buffet selection for a lower-than-cafe price (life-saver!)

- The outdoor area turned out a bit disappointing compared to the pictures: no hammock available anymore, the sun beds are located next to other apartments entrances instead of the lawn which doesn't make them inviting, there are lots of bushes along all paths (which is beautiful but feels limiting) - The beds (mattresses?) were shaky: we could wake up from the partner changing position during the night

Все сподобалось, персонал привітний, розташування від моря просто чудове, дуже близенько. Кафе , ресторани також поруч, смачно і доступно.

Одне маленьке побажання, щоб у номері була пральна машина. Все інше було супер.

- The location is super good, the beach and restaurants are within a 30 second(!) walk. - Proper musquito nets in front of the doors and windows - proper WiFi connection - A nice garden with your own place to sit - The host (Marilena) is very kind and willing to help you and answer your questions. - The service that changes the towels and bedlinnen once a week.

- it was not against our expectations, but the kitchen inventory could be a bit better. Personally we would have liked towels to clean the dishes, and some cloth to clean the countertop and the table outside. Also a larger garbage can is preferred. Of course these are only minor details, but that's all we could think of ;).

The host was outstanding, always there when we needed anything and gave us very precious tips about the surrounding and island. Place is quiet but right around the corner you can find very nice beach, with many tasty restaurants. Perfect spot to take a rest and as well great base for travelling whole island. Room had everything we needed for breakfast, coffee and snacks. Very good AC, there was private terrace for the room as well. Definitely worth coming back!
