Fantastic stay

There is not a full body mirror in the house, but is what it is... the rest was perfect.

A Comfortable Studio

The flat is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen are small and require a bit of care when moving about, but that's OK. The location is great, but as mentioned many times before, not well signposted.

The entry is awkward especially when carrying a large case. The freezer is still choked with ice, and there is still a stain on the bed cover. A shame, because these little things could be so easily rectified.

The location was good. The pub next door is lovely. At first glance the property is nice. Parking.

We booked a little getaway to celebrate our engaement and wish we had stayed at home. I have lost count of the time that I have messaged and called now and still had no reply. We checked out of the paddock a day early after a horrible stay. The only reason we stayed the night is because we couldn't get accommodation in town until the following evening. Our main issue was we had no hot water in the shower since arrival. I contacted the property within an hour of arrival to ask for someone to help with this but still have had no response. The room was dirty and so were the utensils, glasses and towels. Upstairs guests were like a herd of elephants (I apprecaite there is little that can be done about this). The heating was so high and even after putting the radiators on the lowest setting it was still unbearable with the windows open. We both left ill. Such a shame because the property really could be lovely. It is a cute little place. But the filth and lack of hot water along with ZERO customer service is inexcusable.

Location was fine. A bit further out of town than we had thought. Great having the Running Horse so close by.

We had trouble finding the place as there is no signage for Paddock Drive and no numbering. We also had trouble opening the lock box. It was jammed.

Lovely quiet village location next door to village pub. We would happily stay again.

Lovely apartment, bed was very comfortable, sofa looked good but less comfy,lovely shower. Very nice to have fresh eggs left on the doorstep. Neighbourhood very quiet. Next door to a village pub with good food.

Difficult to find from instructions. Parking limited. Many cars in drive when we returned back one night over the Christmas period and we had to get out of bed to move it to a safer place when other cars left. Small hallway before entering flat. A bit difficult to manoeuvre with suitcases. Upstairs can be heard quite clearly when walking across floors in heels and dragging things across the floor but we weren’t in too much when they were so not too big a problem.

Not the cleanest or quietest but a comfortable bed

The bed was comfortable, kitchen had a good amount of equipment and utensils. Room was spacious and we were able to park the car comfortably right outside.

Based on the “you must check out before 10:00am so that the cleaners can come in or you’ll be charged an extra £20” sign, I would have thought the room would be more clean. There was toast crumbs on the kitchen side, coffee stains on the bedside tables, some kind of food splatter marks on one of the kitchen cupboards, lots of dust/hair/cobweb build up in the bathroom, and the breakfast bar table had marks all over it. Also the host could have made it clearer that there is another property upstairs/directly above this one. My partner and I had just gotten into bed on Friday night when we heard other people arriving and going upstairs, we could hear their footsteps, their voices, and their television. The front door didn’t lock properly. It was really difficult to lock the front door, and each time you would open the entry door to one of the rooms, the front door would be forced open by the wind.

lovely apartment, good value for money. we would stay there again

Lovely appartement, really clean and perfect for a short break away. Really nice area, peaceful and quiet. so we got a great sleep.

The bed was very comfy but a better quality mattress cover and fitted sheet would be a good idea, as the flat sheet kept moving… not a massive issue but something that could easily be resolved by the owner. Also the web page needs updating as I withdrew £250 cash ready for collection - as cover for any damages, but no one came to collect the money so I’m presuming that information is out of date.

Comfortable, spacious, provided towels, soap and cleaning products for the kitchen as well as a hoover. It was secure with modern facilities and small but ideal kitchen

Perfect Secret Get Away.

The room is cozy, clean, modern, and well located away from the road. We thought it was a little pricey but we figured that the located and facilities were worth the rates for our weekend stay. The hosts are friendly, considerate, and I believe they are on sight too.

May be a little hard to find as several reviews stated but if you plug in the address on the GPS it takes you right there. It's 2.5 Miles from Winchester so be prepared to drive to the city rather than walk.
