Great place for couples with up to four children in walking distance to one of the best beaches on ELBA. The kitchen/Living room is spacious enough and the outdoor area and garden are great for the kids. The place was generally practical and had almost everything needed, even an iron & ironboard was provided, which we needed. ;) For sleeping there is one double bed only and 4 individual beds, plus one bed for a child in the master bedroom. (This should be in the description)
Communication was very good in English. At the end of the season some things need repair or refurbishing so that this place does not come across "overly used", becoming a little 'old'. It was clean, though.
WLAN would of course also be nice in these days...
Still, we enjoyed this place, the nearness to Porteferraio and the beach with restaurants & snackbar, etc. Just don't expect perfection but love Ars Vivendi. ;))

Wir haben die Ferien sehr genossen, die Wohnung ist gross, geräumig, alles ist da und am schönsten ist die Umgebung. Schöner Garten Sitzplätze in der Sonne, Aussenküche. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Alberto ist ein sehr liebenswürdiger Gastgeber, der sich sofort um die Belange seiner Gäste kümmert. Die Kommunikation auf Englisch ist völlig problemlos! Die Wohnung ist recht geräumig und bot für 2 Erwachsene und zwei Kinder (8 u. 10) sehr viel Platz. Sehr schön ist der Wintergarten, in welchem man vom Wetter unabhängig die Mahlzeiten einnehmen kann. Der Garten ist sehr schön und bietet Blick auf das Meer. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig mitten im Grünen und der Scaglieri- bzw. Biodolastrand ist fußläufig problemlos in etwa 5 min zu erreichen. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist zwar schon etwas älter, jedoch war alles sauber und Haushaltsutensilien in ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Falls etwas fehlt, hilft Alberto sofort weiter. Die Bilder vermitteln einen realistischen Eindruck der Wohnung. Für diese Wohnlage oberhalb der Biodola-Bucht ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis völlig in Ordnung. Man sollte allerdings keine Luxuswohnung erwarten, dafür muss man gut das Doppelte investieren. Uns und den Kindern hat es gut gefallen! Grazie Alberto!

Wir haben zu zweit drei Wochen in der Wohnung verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Beim anfangs heißen Wetter haben wir es genossen, dass der Wintergarten noch unverglast war. Als es abends kühler wurde, hat Alberto eine Glaswand eingesetzt, so dass wir weiterhin unsere Abende draußen im Wintergarten verbringen konnten. Alberto ist überhaupt ein freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter.
Der private Garten und die direkte Umgebung sind sehr schön anzusehen, so dass man auch Tage "zuhause" verbringen kann und dabei immer schöne toskanische Landschaft im Blick hat. Angenehm ist auch, dass es guten Mobil-/Datenempfang gibt (das ist nicht überall auf Elba so).
Die Lage der Wohnung ist wunderbar. Man erreicht einfach zu Fuß die Strände Scaglieri, Forno und Biodola und ist doch abseits vom damit verbundenen Trubel. Nur die Animation des Campingplatzes hört man in der Hochsaison deutlich, was uns aber nicht gestört hat.
