Two independent houses in Mas des Fonts each one with its own no shared private pool, own terrace, entry, parking etc...High quality of accommodation for your holidays all the year long. This house named : VIEUX MURIER.
Amidst Mediterranean landscape, garrigue and vineyards, 2 km from the nearest house, you will find both quietness and a lot of activities. Swimming in your private pool or in Cèze and Ardèche, canoe or fishing, walking, biking, or playing “pétanque”. Large terrace with barbecue in our 4 ha garden with olives and green oaks, rosemary, thyme and lavenders. Fully equipped kitchen, large living room, 4 Provencal bedrooms for each house. Avignon, Uzès, Pont du Gard, Nîmes to visit, “route des vins” with tasting, perfumes and colors of our «marchés de Provence” in Pont Saint Esprit or Bagnols sur Cèze at 5 minutes. Medieval hill top villages like La Roque, or Val de Cèze ones like Goudargues. Village at 2 km. Ideal for families or romantic southern trip. SAT TV.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house—Philippe is a warm and attentive host who made us feel very welcome. The natural surroundings are stunning and perfect for relaxing. While there was some traffic on the road to Bagnols at times, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. We’d happily come back!

We had an excellent stay with our family of 7. At the end of the road, in between the wine-fields with a magnificent view, this 17th century house has a lot of charme. Great private swimming pool, great outdoor space with a large table in the shade it's great to spend the day outdoors. Inside a very large open kitchen, four great bedrooms and two bathrooms. The owner Philppe makes you feel welcome and gives good advice for shopping local products, good restaurants and highlights nearby St. Nazaire. You definitely need a car, nearest village is 2.1 km downhill, nearest town with supermarkets Bagnols-sur-Cèze at 5 km.

Philippe and Sylvia are terrific hosts & Philippe was on hand to meet us with lots of great advice. Nothing is too much trouble. We arrived to find a crate stuffed with wonderful French produce including wine and homemade pear jam. The place was really clean and very well appointed with everything you need to cook, do your washing or simply chill and relax. The area is ideally located for visiting so many wonderful things - Avignon, Times, Les Baux-de-Provence, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Pont Du Gard etc. - yet is hidden away down a winding road and situated amongst the woods and vineyards. There is a vast network of tracks and paths meaning you can walk forever and never see another soul. Would definitely recommend it if you're looking for somewhere for a real taste of France.

Heerlijke week gehad in het huis. Zeer sfeervol en smaakvol ingericht. Prachtig gelegen tussen de wijngaarden. Hartelijke ontvang en heerlijk fruit/groentenpakket. In de omgeving veel leuke uitjes. We zouden graag nog een keer terugkomen in de zomer zodat we ook gebruik zouden kunnen maken van het zwembad.

Das Anwesen befindet sich mitten im Grünen zwischen Weinbergen, Steineichen und Olivenbäumen. Ein Hochgenuss ist das äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtete Haus mit seinem sehr ursprünglichen Ambiente. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er bereitete uns einen großartigen Empfang und war zu jederzeit hilfsbereit. Der gesamte Gebäudekomplex besteht aus 3 Einheiten. Trotzdem ist man in seinem Anwesen komplett für sich. Das erstaunt immer wieder. Herrliche Fahrrad - und Wanderausflüge sind von hier möglich. Es war ein großartiger Urlaub!!

Nous étions 3 couples avec 4 enfants et nous avons passé une superbe semaine dans le mas de Philippe. La maison est située au milieu des vignes, loin de la ville et de la route, calme garanti ! La piscine est très agréable et les environs super. Philippe est un hôte aux petits soins avec plein de bons conseils sur sa superbe régions

Philippe nous a très bien accueilli dans sa jolie propriété. La maison est grande, agréable, la piscine est très bien. Isolée mais c est ce qui donne tout son charme, le village est à moins de 3 kms. Vom freundlichen Anruf durch Monsieur Philippe am Tag unserer Buchung über die herzliche Email-Kommunikation bis hin zum Begrüßungskorb mit regionalen Spezialitäten bei unserer Ankunft, soviel herzliche und ehrliche Gastfreundschaft erlebt man nur ganz selten. Auch die Tipps bei unserer Ankunft nahmen wir gerne an und entdeckten dadurch Märkte, örtliche Spezialitäten und Ausflugsziele zusätzlich zu den ohnehin wunderschönen Touristenmagneten wie dem Papstpalast* in Avignon, der "Römerstadt" Nimes, Pont du Gard und Ardeche mit Pont d´Arc und der zutiefst beeindruckenden Grotte Chauvet* (* beides UNESCO Welterbe). All das und das besondere südliche Flair machten unsere überhaupt ersten 2 Wochen in Frankreich zu einem unserer schönsten Familienurlaube. Das Vieux Murier - eine ehemalige 350 Jahre alte Seidenraupenzucht in wunderbar ruhiger Lage - wurde von Philippe und seiner Frau aufwändig restauriert und in ein stilvolles Ferienhaus mit bezauberndem Ambiente verwandelt. Wir waren bei der herzlichen Verabschiedung ein bisschen wehmütig und werden uns sicherlich lange und immer wieder gern daran erinnern. Diese 2 Wochen waren 13 Stunden und ca.1500 km Anreise auf jeden Fall wert. Bien cordialement.

‚Vieux Mûrier‘ ist ein Traum

Wir machen Ferien in einer Burg! Dies war unser erster Eindruck, als wir unser Feriendomizil das erste Mal erblickten. Das über 300-jährige Gemäuer, welches von Philippe und Silvie mit viel Sorgfalt restauriert wurde, hat alles, was man sich nur wünschen kann. In unserem Teil der Anlage, dem ‚Vieux Mûrier‘, konnten wir königliche Ferien verbringen: das rustikale Innere mit viel Platz und grossen Räumen, der Aussenbereich mit Swimming-Pool und Gartensitzplatz und einem herrlichem Ausblick auf ausgedehnte Rebenfelder. Wir genossen vor allem die Ruhe, die wunderbaren Sonnenaufgänge und den Geruch von verschiedenen Kräutern wie Thymian oder Rosmarin. Höhepunkte waren auch die kurzen Aufenthalte im Swimming-Pool bei eher tiefen Oktober-Temperaturen. Unserer Hundedame ‚SARI‘ gefiel der unbegrenzte Auslauf und die vielen Wege durch die Reben und Wälder. Die Ausflüge in die nahe gelegenen kleinen Dörfer wie ‚Roque-sur-Cèze‘, ‚Goudargues‘ oder in die phantastische ‚Ardèche-Schlucht‘, werden als bleibende Erinnerungen mit uns nach Hause zurückkehren. Unseren Vermietern Philippe und Silvie gehört unser Dank für die freundliche Aufnahme und die unaufdringliche Betreuung. Wir können jedem, der Ruhe und Kultur sucht, oder einmal als Burgherr Ferien machen möchte, ‚Vieux Mûrier‘ nur empfehlen.

Nous avons passé de belles vacances entre amis au Vieux Murier. Contact facile avec les propriétaires, qui ont été très arrangeants. La maison a beaucoup de charme avec ses meubles et tableaux anciens, et est aussi bien équipée. Nous avons aussi bien profité de la terrasse à l'ombre. Merci!

Sehr schönes Anwesen in ruhiger idyllischer Lage. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll im provençalischen Stil. Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und sprechen Deutsch. Meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Nous avons séjourné au Mas des Fonts en famille pendant les vacances de Noël. Les 4 chambres sont spacieuses, décorées simplement et avec goût. La pièce à vivre est très agréable. Depuis le mas, des sentiers permettent de découvrir les alentours à pied. Je recommande.

En premier lieu la maison correspond tout-à-fait au descriptif: au milieu des vignes, calme absolu, le charme de l'ancien et de la pierre combiné à un confort parfait. Convient très bien pour 2 familles (4 adultes et 6 enfants). Ensuite le propriétaire M. Dineur est très accueillant, à l'écoute de la moindre question, et sait orienter vers les points forts de la région qui n'en manque pas (Gorges de l'Ardèche, Pont du Gard, Aven d'Orgnac, Avignon, nombreux villages provençaux de la vallée de la Cèze, randos environnantes). Nous reviendrons !
