The flat was nicely furnished. It was bright comforting and homely. Well equipped. Great shower. Good location.

There nothing i didn't like

The flat was awesome, right smack bang in York, 0.8 miles from city walls. What a lovely, clean, homely home from home, everything you could possibly need for a few days stay in the quality city of York, I took my 12 year old son to explore the wonders of York , we absolutely loved coming back to the flat after a long day sightseeing, it has a bath and shower so late night radox bath for my bad knee, perfect after walking miles most days, all the bathroom stuff including radox were provided, tucked away behind the main road, it was absolute piece and tranquility sat out on the decking, really lovely, we didn't finish the mystery gun powder letter book that we went for, we did 10 out of 25 clues, which took us all throughout York, the boy has already asked that when we come back to finish the mystery, can we please stay here again. Absolute quality few days, thank Richard and Jacky, I will be booking to bring the boy back to finish his York mystery book in the summer holidays if it's available, it's fully booked right now and I'm not surprised, the visitors book there has reviews going back years, they all say the same, I also left a top review in that book while there. There was nothing to not like, absolutely nothing, really, we couldn't even look back and try to think of anything we didn't like to be honest.

Access to city Parking Flat has everything we needed and was warm and cosy

Had everything you needed. A home from home.

On arrival there was no heating or hot water. The boiler had no water pressure. This is an on going theme as there was instructions to sort it by messing with the boiler. Not good as I’m not gas registered and potentially dangerous. The following day whilst out enjoying York we got a message saying the flat was leaking into the flat below. Was this because of the boiler ? Would we have heating when we returned? Not great at all when trying to enjoy our weekend away.
