Good for a short stay but lacks the finesse and extras that make a stay exceptonal

Great location our room was very big with a view over the Rhine Parking was adjacent to the Hotel and free Reception was very helpful Assistance with luggage was greatly appreciated

The stairs to our room would be difficult for those with impaired mobility The decor is very plain but functionally sound Breakfast was adequate but not exceptional

Fantastic and we recommend it.

The service from the staff was exceptional. We were able to store our bikes in the garage, the staff even helped us carry them in. The food was great and the restaurant took great care to cater to food allergies. The river view had a lovely view of the river and it was spectacular looking over the river at night from the bed.

The room/bathroom was not renovated but it really didn’t matter and was factored into the price. It was quite quaint and charming and we enjoyed our stay.

Very enjoyable

Love the location in front of the Rhein with a good choice of restaurants along the river. The rooms are spacious and very clean breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice. The hotel has free parking . We have stayed here on 3 trips to Germany for 2 nights while visiting castles near by and highly recommended it. Will be returning next year.

Rhine view Hotel Vater.

The owner came out to meet us on our arrival. She immediately offered the garage for our motorcycles. The rooms were large and welcoming with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was plentiful. Cereal, and good selection of cooked meats and cheese with fresh rolls. Facing the Rhine on the promenade. The four of us only stayed one night, but a place to definitely visit again.

Lovely location and staff worked hard to give us a pleasant stay

Lovely location next to the river Rhine and due to the warm evening we were able to sit outside for our evening meal. The staff were extremely helpful and made every effort to make a pleasant stay. The dinner menu is more than adequate as was breakfast. Although a little full of stuff we were able to park our motorcycles in their garage.

Whilst it is in a lovely location by the river it is difficult to locate by road as it is in a pedestrian only area and the access from the main road to the back is not signed. We parked our motorcycles within a restricted area and then moved them to the garage after finding out the location of the access from the road.

Excellent location on the river side, near the shops and not too far from the railway station.

We were somewhat disappointed with the breakfast. The quality and variety of food items offered was much more limited than we usually experience in other hotels.

The location was superb - right on the promenade, with a good choice of restaurants. The breakfast was very good.

The pillows were very soft, not substantial enough, and so we needed to put the folded duvets underneath, but we found this in all the hotels we stayed at in Germany.

Superb

Wonderful position right on the Rhine. We had a huge room and nice modern bathroom.

The breakfast was rather basic - only white rolls, only muesli with chocolate bits.

Exceptional

The hotel and room was really clean. Room is silent and confortable, as well as the bed! Room was surprisely big, with a very nice view on the Rhein. The location is just perfect, easy to access, with a parking and direct access to walking street beside the Rhein. Plenty of restaurant and cafe. Breakfast is classic German style breaks fast with good quality food. The owners was very nice, especially as I don’t speak much German.

Really happy with the Hotel. It was a birthday treat for my wife and she had a lovely time

Everything was totally as expected in these difficult times. The staff did everything they could to make the stay as pleasant as possible, but still maintaining sufficient levels of health and safety in relation to COVID. We would recommend the hotel to family and friends

Wifi reception in our room was very intermittent, but maybe because we were at the back of the hotel.

5 schöne Tage mit tollem Service 😃

Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und hat uns alle Wünsche erfüllt! Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, die Möbel waren neuwertig und der Ausblick traumhaft, mit Blick vom Bett auf dem Rhein. Die Zimmer und das Hotel waren SEHR SAUBER

Wir waren Sylvester da und viele Lokale hatten Urlaub und waren geschlossen, was natürlich nicht die Schuld vom Hotel Vater Rhein ist!

Ein wirklich gelungenes Wochenende. Tolles Zimmer, gute Lage mit herrlicher Aussicht!

Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht über das sehr große und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Komfort-Zimmer mit Blick auf den Rhein - eigentlich schon ein kleines Appartement. Da wir zu unserem 52.Hochzeitstag angereist waren, hatte ich telefonisch angefragt, ob wir zum Frühstück am 16.11. eine kleine Überraschung für meine Frau erhalten könnten. Dies wurde mir sofort freundlich zugesagt. Und die Überraschung hat uns sehr beeindruckt: Es stand ein schöner Strauß Rosen, eine Schachtel belg. Pralinen und tolle Deko auf dem Tisch. Und es gab für jeden ein Glas Champagner! Wirklich toll! Das Frühstück war auch sehr reichhaltig. Wir haben uns richtig wohlgefühlt. Hervorragende Lage an der Promenade!

Lekker uitgerust en gewandeld in oktober.

Prima locatie langs de Rijn. Voldoende verschillende restaurants in de buurt. Mooi uitzicht over de Rijn en eenvoudig wandelen naar de heuvels eromheen.

Het ontbijt was goed maar eenvoudig. Het restaurant in het hotel zelf was niet open. Op de kamer geen mogelijkheid om koelie of thee te zetten. Verder viel niets tegen en was alles in orde.

Perfecte hotel, perfecte ligging met mooi uitzicht.

Bij aankomst zeer vriendelijk, motors konden in de garage,zeer mooie kamers, vriendelijke bediening, ontbijt zeer goed, avond eten Heel lekker, en rustig om met vrienden iets te drinken daar. Alles was zeer goed daar, we gaan zeker nog terug, het is ons favoriete bestemmingen Om motor te rijden.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt, direkt am Rhein.

Die Lage direkt am Rhein ist hervorragend, kurze Wege zu den Gaststätten und für den Abendspaziergang. Die hauseigene Pizzeria konnten wir nicht testen, da nur zum Wochenende offen. Das Frühstück von der Auswahl her klein aber gut. Parkplätze direkt am Hotel und das kostenlos. Bad Breisig hat einen Bahnhof der fußläufig erreichbar ist, Ausflüge nach Koblenz oder Bonn sind dadurch möglich. Guter Ausgangspunkt führ Fahrten mit der Brohtalbahn ab Brohl-Lützenich und der Kasbachtalbahn ab Linz am Rhein.

Kleines familiengeführtes Hotel mit schöner Lage am Rhein

Sehr schöne Lage direkt an der Rheinpromenade in Bad Breisig unweit des Kurparks. Ich hatte ein Zimmer zur Rheinseite mit wunderschönem Blick auf Schloss Ahrenfels (Zimmer Jennifer). Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig an einer Anliegerstrasse. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden direkt am Hotel.

Die Öffnungszeiten des italienischen Restaurants waren zu kurz. Ab 21 Uhr ist das Restaurant geschlossen, die Küche wird kurz nach 20 Uhr geschlossen. Die Lichtschaltung im Badezimmer via Bewegungsmelder ließ sich nicht abschalten bzw. auf Dauerlucht umschalten.
