We found this house to be very inspiring. The new construction from gorgeous old materials creates a really interesting flow and sense of calm in an uncluttered space. The views from the house of the sky and vineyard, along with the magnificent bell tower, were very beautiful and absorbing. We think Friuli itself is highly underrated, and we loved visiting Udine and Palmanova and taking a local river trek tour (Wildvalley). Our children also enjoyed it all, especially sampling all the local gelato. Manuela and Marco were very welcoming and responsive. We highly recommend this house!

Casa Roncus is the perfect location for a family vacation or romantic get away. Sitting on the back porch or on the balcony is an escape to paradise. The house is beautiful, perfectly clean, and homey. The hosts are friendly and very accommodating. Our stay here was the highlight of our family trip. Our family lives in Udine, and they were confused as to why we would want to go stay so far away in the country, until they came to visit us in Capriva- and they all agreed this was the perfect place to stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Casa Roncus is wonderful! Our daughter was married at the nearby Castello di Spessa, and our preference was to stay in a house rather than multiple rooms at the Castello. We are a large family, and Casa Roncus suited us perfectly. The house was very clean, very stylish and very comfortable. The pictures do not do it justice. There are four bedrooms upstairs, including a lovely master with a balcony overlooking the backyard and vineyard. Additionally there is a pull out bed downstairs if needed. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped and there are lovely large dining tables both in the kitchen and outside in the garden. We used the outdoor BBQ and were able to host a post-wedding dinner in the garden. True to the photos, there is a beautiful lawn in back with lounge chairs and it is a wonderful spot to relax. Manuela welcomed us on arrival and oriented us to the house. She is lovely, and she made sure we had everything we needed. I wish we could have had more time at Casa Roncus! It would be a lovely spot for a relaxing vacation stay without even leaving the house. We did drive to Slovenia and take a hike in the beautiful mountains, spent some time in Udine, and had the wedding at nearby Castello di Spessa. I can't say enough about the property and the hosts - wonderful place!!

Can't recommend Casa Roncus enough. Manuela & Marco, the owners, have created a luxury home to totally relax in and enjoy your holiday. Everything you can possibly need or want has been thought of and provided. Even 4 bikes to explore the beautiful surroundings. The house is very spacious and furnished elegantly with the greatest attention to little details which make it feel very stylish. This extends to the terrace and garden, carefully floodlit to enjoy evening al fresco dining. There were 8 of us, Polish and British. We felt so much at home, we spent as much time in Casa Roncus as we did discovering this beautiful part of Northern Italy. Thank you Manuela & Marco for WONDERFUL holiday !!! …alles in allem ein supi Haus, wo wir bequem und gut mit 7 Personen eine Woche gewohnt haben. Wir sind Motorradfahrer, und konnten jeden gerecht werden, ob Adria oder geile Kurven, ein Traum!! Vielen Dank sagen Frank und Marita Krämer sowie Freunde 🤩👍

Wir hatten das Haus als Paar gemietet u haben einen traumhaften Urlaub im Casa Roncus verbracht, sind total begeistert: das Casa ist wirklich etwas ganz besonderes: wunderschön, sehr stilvoll, sehr geräumig (auch für mehrere Gäste ), sehr komfortabel und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Sehr hochwertige Ausstattung, es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Im großen, ruhigen Garten und der überdachten Terrasse kann man wunderbar in den bequemen Liegestühlen entspannen u den Tag mit Blick über die herrliche Umgebung u die Weinfelder genießen. Bei schlechtem Wetter bietet die große Wohnküche u das stilvolle Wohnzimmer viel Gemütlichkeit. Toll fanden wir auch die kostenlos bereitgestellten Fahrräder, mit denen man wunderschöne Radtouren - es gibt viele Radwege in unmittelbarer Umgebung- machen kann. Capriva del Friuli ist ein sehr sympathisches Dorf (Bäcker und Lebensmittelgeschäft fußläufig erreichbar), die Lage ist außerdem für Ausflüge ideal: Udine, Palmanova, Cividale, Triest, Duino, Grado etc sind in weniger als einer Stunde Autofahrt erreichbar und das Collio mit den Weinfeldern ist einfach nur wunderschön . Marco und Manuela sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber und sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht- ganz herzlichen Dank für alles! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und freuen uns schon darauf, auch auf die wunderaren Weine von Roncus.

Que dire du magnifique jardin et des vélos mis à notre disposition. les propriétaires sont accueillants et nous ont fait d'excellentes recommandations. nous avons eu le plaisir de partager quelques heures avec Manuella et Marco au vignoble lors d'une dégustation vin et mets. Ce fût un moment plaisant, une rencontre amicale où Marco nous a parlé de l'histoire de sa famille et du vignoble. nous avons rapporté d'excellents souvenirs des vins et des mets goûtés en leur compagnie et que dire du vinaigre de vin fumé "Joia" le projet spécial de Manuella. Merci chers hôtes pour cette rencontre exceptionnelle! Il nostro soggiorno a casa Roncus è stato molto piacevole. Residenza ben arredata nel cuore di un vigneto questa residenza può ospitare 11 persone di cui abbiamo beneficiato di 4 strutture. Che dire del bellissimo giardino e delle biciclette a nostra disposizione. i proprietari sono accoglienti e hanno dato ottimi consigli. abbiamo avuto il piacere di condividere qualche ora con Manuella e Marco in vigna durante una degustazione di vini e cibi. È stato un momento piacevole, un incontro amichevole in cui Marco ci ha raccontato la storia della sua famiglia e del vigneto. abbiamo riportato ottimi ricordi dei vini e dei piatti degustati in loro compagnia e che per dire l'aceto di vino affumicato "Joia", il progetto speciale di Manuella. Well-appointed residence in the heart of a vineyard this residence can accommodate 11 people we were 4 benefited from the facilities. What about the beautiful garden and bicycles available to us. the owners are welcoming and made excellent recommendations. we had the pleasure of sharing a few hours with Manuella and Marco at the vineyard during a wine and food tasting. It was a pleasant moment, a friendly meeting where Marco told us about the history of his family and the vineyard. We have brought back excellent memories of the wines and dishes tasted in their company and that to say the smoked wine vinegar "Joia" the special project of Manuella.
