Perfect place to enjoy and explore this fascinating historic city

Location right in the heart of the old city. Apartment was beautiful,spacious and well stocked, and featured modern comforts in a historic stone flat. Bed was very comfortable. Could sit outside in the alleyway and have coffee and drinks if you liked (we did) :). Owners clearly care about providing a good experience for their guests. Zvonimir greeted us and provided an insightful overview of the history of Sibenik and many of the attractions

Beautifully converted studio apartment in the center of old town

Right in the centre of the Old Town. Very large and spacious room Good equipped small kitchen with all the essentials. Beautifully designed and converted contemporary style Hosts where very gentle and helpful

Parking is approximately 10minutes walk from the apartment, which cannot be helped as it’s not possible to enter let alone park a vehicle into the old town. If you’re travelling with young children and carrying a stroller, it’s not the easiest place to get to, we opted to leave it in the car as it was simpler to go into the old town hand carrying our child. ( uneven terrain, steps, etc) Very slow (almost unusable WiFi connection) Very poor sound proofing.

Wonderful, place to stay - spacious and full of character! :)

It was large and spacious, with all your needs catered for. The host was warm and welcoming and gave us plenty of helpful information. The location was fantastic and walking distance to everything. They have managed to retain a lot of the old character of the building, which makes it so unique! We would highly recommend staying at Galera 1.

Great location, service could have been better.

The location was great, the Restaurant they send you to, is conveniently located just 20 metres away and the food and service there is excellent.

There were no utensils (cups, teaspoons) apart from a little kettle to make coffee and tea. A tiny fridge. We arrived tired and very late at night, and when we messaged next morning to ask about the utensils, we were then told they were halfway down the stairs in the communal area and to help ourselves. There was 1 toilet roll provided in the bathroom and later, we found we could help ourselves to that too, from the Communal Area which isn’t the tidiest. Wet towels in the corner on the floor, at the front door, met us when we arrived, accompanied by a damp smell. We realised why as there is no fan in the bathroom to extract steam from the shower and a door was missing from the shower so you would always end up with a wet bath mat at the end of your shower.

The host was really nice, the appartment is in the really city center, 2 steps from all the nice restaurants and the church. Pretty quiet and you get a free parking lot which is amazaing

The place is really dark, it smells quite a lot the humidity and it was not super clean. Towels were dead 2 years ago and the bed is very soft. I guess for the price is ok..

Beautiful historic room in Old Town. Great value!

Location was excellent and very quiet. Beautiful apartment with so much history. We were met by a very helpful gentlemen who gave us great advice for local food. We went to both and he was spot on with the beautiful local food.

Cool Central apartment with archaeological flair

Cool in both senses of the word. The stone provides relief from the stifling heat outside, and also it’s an actual archaeological site. Comfortable. Central. Whole city within 3 min walk

Great location, interesting design. We were staying 1 night only so it was perfect for our purposes.property is in the old part of the town, so only accessible by foot but there are lots of parkings available nearby. Since we arrived on Sat after 2 pm, parking was free of charge. We had only one bed arranged. Since we noticed it only late in the evening, we decided not to bother the host but probably worth checking during check in process

Exclusive breath of antique with modern comfort

These apartments are special ones! These are unique with an ancient history and antique pieces of furniture. Apartments have modern equipment, beautiful decoration, different light modes. Large and extremely comfortable bed. Perfect sound insulation by the ancient walls. The apartments are located in the very heart of old city on a tiny street away from people’s eyes and any sound. Excellently equipped kitchen with all kitchenware you might need. Spacious vaulted ceilings full of air. Pleasant calmness and coolness. Beautifully equipped space. Nicely equipped bathroom. Spotlessly clean. A lot of restaurants and small supermarkets just around the corner, as it is the old city. The parking lot is in walking distance – at the bus station. The host is a charming young gentlemen Luka. Much appreciated his knowledge of city/country history and a piece of advice in local wines/wineries.

The drainage (the speed with which water is going away into the drainage system) is a bit poor, but it is absolutely natural and expected in such ancient buildings.

A beautiful apartment with a history

The apartment is beautifully renovated, very spacious and has some interesting history, which Luka told us as he handed us the keys. I would say it looks a lot better in person; the photos don't do it justice. The location is also perfect; in the heart of the old town but on a little, quiet alleyway. And Luka has been a wonderful and responsive host.

Nagyon jó, mindenkinek ajánlom, aki szereti az ódon kisvárosokat.

Reggeli nem volt, de a közelben sok üzlet van, és a szűllűson jól felszerelt konyha, nagy asztal, kényelmes székekkel. A szállás az óváros kellős közepén van, rendkívül hangulatos a környék és maga a szűllűshely is.

Minden szuper volt, egyedül a wifi lehetett volna jobb.

Mooi appartement voor een nacht in Sibenik.

Centrale lokatie in de oude stad van Sibenik Goed geslapen, prima stille airco. Ruim, met bank, tafel, eettafel en TV. Keuken met basis faciliteiten.

Weinig licht (je moet eerst meerdere luiken voor raam en deuren open doen). Functionele inrichting van kamer, niet gezellig, Geen thee of koffie, wel waterkoker.

Céntrico y con historia

La ubicación es perfecta, en el centro de Sibenik, con callejones encantadores. Se veía que era un edificio con historia, es interesante la historia de la familia y como recuperaron el edificio que era antiguamente una lavandería. Al ser una planta baja y los muros de piedra mantienen la temperatura ideal. Las camas eran muy cómodas. Los anfitriones se mostraron muy atentos. Parking gratuito.

El equipamiento de la cocina es justo. Echamos de menos un horno y congelador. La limpieza un poco justa. No iba la luz de la nevera, el anfitrión cuando se lo dije me respondió enseguida que lo tenía en cuenta. Importante: la caldera funciona con un interruptor al lado de la luz del baño, la cual no se debe apagar. Decoración y mobiliario no hacen justicia a las instalaciones, se podrían aprovechar mucho más el encanto del edificio y hacer de este alojamiento un lugar verdaderamente especial. Fue algo puntual, pero se escucha bastante el ruido de las personas que se alojan arriba.
