About this house rental
The barn is part of a property built around 1850, a beautiful house that once served as a straw factory. Transformed into a bright and attractive accommodation, the barn remains cool in summer and comfortable in winter. The kitchen is well equipped, with a dishwasher and two fridges. The accommodation is located in a large garden where you can really relax in peace and quiet and enjoy the beautiful location of the heated swimming pool. You can take your meals on the terrace with a beautiful view of the swimming pool and the countryside. At your disposal is also a second shaded terrace, fitted out in the place of the old bread oven, as well as a large barbecue area. Children have plenty of space to have fun, and the swing will certainly please them, as well as the large ping pong table and the game of bowls.
When you want to move, we offer hiking trails from the house, bike rides in the Lot valley, or kayaking in the beautiful Célé valley.
Enjoy the fresh fruit and vegetables from our vegetable garden or, if you don't feel like cooking, treat yourself with a meal prepared by the owner, a cooking graduate, using fresh products from the market and the garden, accompanied wines from the region.

Superb week in the Lot valley in a wonderful property. Everything we needed and excellent hospitality from Marion. We thoroughly recommend staying here and we hope to be back!

We have just spent a wonderful week in this beautiful gite; we have returned with batteries charged and full of plans to return when we can! The property had every comfort - the highlight for me being the swimming pool, where you can drift up and down with the most gorgeous scenery surrounding you. The extensive gardens are full of flowers and butterflies - lovely for evening walks down to the river. We also enjoyed the great barbecue area with table and chairs for al fresco Toulouse sausages.
Ambeyrac is a great base for visiting interesting and picturesque towns and villages nearby; Najac and St Cirq Lapopie were our favourites.
Do not miss out on the chance to have a meal cooked by Marion; on our last night we enjoyed a culinary masterclass which will be remembered for ever - thank you Marion and Martin for being such friendly and helpful hosts. We hope to see you again some day….

We returned to the area after 8 years and thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks. We chose this property based on the photos and other reveiws.Marion, the owner was very welcoming and helpful. The pool and pool area were fabulous. The pool was clean and the children loved it.The garden/grounds well kept and plenty to explore and play in.Unfortunately the gite itself was not as expected. The lack of storage space in the kitchen and bedrooms frustrating. And overall needs some care and attention.
