Boutique Hotel Parklane - Newly Renovated

Great sized room Friendly staff Excellent location to centre Clean room and comfortable bed Quiet room overlooking the inner court yard (Room 212) Self check in Good continental breakfast Good and powerful shower. Easy to follow self check in details

Slow WiFi at times Small bathroom in proportion to the room Doors to the room and bathroom both stick to the floor making them difficult to open (Room 212) Curtains difficult to close Difficult to define boutique. Poor tea tray (No UHT milk or proper T Bags) Scuffed and scratched walls

Good size room but a bit austere. Bed was very comfortable. Good TV with access to our UK subscriptions. Good breakfast.

Room not as advertised. We were supposed to have a courtyard view but had a street view instead. Bathroom was a bit cramped.

The staff! There was this young man at the reception- I didn’t get his name, but he knows who he is! He was very polite, helped me look up the message with the code on my phone. Then he walked with me to the other building, while helping me with the luggage. All the time, he was conversing politely and reassuring me that the hot weather does mess up our minds. Many thanks to him and the entire staff at this hotel!

No dislikes whatsoever.

Overall location is good (close to public transit), quiet neighborhood. Water pressure in shower was excellent. Staff were extremely kind and helpful. Room is larger than expected.

Though building is newly renovated, it’s poorly constructed. Building looked unfinished with sloppy paint jobs. Also the actual “hotel” is in a different building with a creepy looking entrance that felt unsafe. Had I known this, would have likely picked a different location. If this does not matter to you then good value for your money.
