It was such a great experience! Experiencing the day, sunset and sunrise in the midst of the jungle with such a great view is amazing. In addition we got to experience a full lighting show during the afternoon thunderstorm. The kids loved it. We recommend this stay a 100%. Food and service were great.

One of the moskito nets was too small for a double bed and the moskito nets already had many holes (which may have been caused by the monkeys).

We came here to see the orangutans and stayed in one of the local jungle cabins — just a mattress and a mosquito net, but it made the whole trip. You can lie in bed and watch Thomas leaf monkeys moving through the high trees right outside. In the morning, the kids loved having the small monkeys come right up to the cabin to check out what we were eating! The food is simple, but that's completely understandable — you're in the jungle, not a restaurant. Showers are bucket-style with heated water, which does the job. The guides were fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke great English. One thing to know: getting up to the cabins means hiking a steep trail, so if you or anyone in your group has knee or mobility issues, it could be a real struggle both up and down. This place is perfect for people who want a genuine jungle experience. If you're after comfort, it's better to base yourself in town instead. For us, it was some of the best sleep we've had, and an unforgettable trip for the whole family.

Noting, it was exactly what we were after

Amazing tour, Balù best guide ever! We did the two days and one night tour and we managed to see six orangutans in total, one of which very very close. We slept in the forest next to the river and it was an amazing experience. The food they cooked was great and delicious and there are also vegetarian options if you are vegetarian like me. I wouldn’t suggest this kind of trekking to those who are not physically prepared because it can get very tough. In any case Balù is gonna find the best way to help you out!

Quite filthy, we have skin rash all over our body No possibility to shower Zero privacy, we arrived with other guests loitering in our hut and it turned out that it was kind of the dining hut so people could look at us sleeping (no wall)
