This guesthouse is in the heart of beautiful Bukit Lawang. The staff were wonderful and provided us with an amazing experience, including our overnight trek in the jungle. The food offer was limited but was of a very high quality. They even had beer! We wished we could have stayed longer!
Our room was fabulous with a river view form its balcony. Our one slight negative was that we lost access to hot water twice during our three night stay.

Great location - far from any noise or bars. Staff is lovely, there is a refill water station, AC and mosquito net. Very comfortable stay in general. Would come back again.
We were there for 5 days and never had any cleaning, or changed towels. After a while in this humidity, they started to smell. The shower drain was not working well, and the water was everywhere. We paid for express laundry, and it took 1,5 days to get it back. We had no soap at the sink to wash our hands.

The staff are amazing people. Friendly and always happy to help you. A transfer from Medan can easily be arranged and they even carry your luggage to your room. The jungle trek can also be arranged and is also magnificient.
We had only one con. While we booked the room with hot water, we only had cold water.
