About this cottage rental
3 cute cottages, named MULBERRY TREE, DAPHNE and CHESTNUT TREE, with private pool each one, and very nice surrounded terraces full of trees, plants and flowers, located at Potami (means river) area, between Agnontas beach and Panormos beach. They are full of character with elegant interior decors, entirely suited to the gloriously peaceful rural setting. They are set on the hillside overlooking the Potami valley, on land that has been in the family for over 100 years.
The Potami area is a part of the island rich in water with plentiful springs, and as a result covered with plain trees and orchards. The whole area provides many wonderful walks, with paths leading through the mountains, past picturesque chapels and other cottages, on down to the coast. By crossing through a wooden bridge, you are entering to the property, of 15 acres, which is covered with olive, plum, walnut, cherry, chestnut and almond trees, and a paved road leads you to the cottages.
The location is the most beautiful in the middle of the island, in a green enviroment with many springs around. All cottages are surrounded by many trees and plants, the pool and sunbathing area, composing a very secluded and peaceful place. The perfect escape. A beautiful place in a green environment, romantic get away.
DAPHNE COTTAGE
This is the one of the two new cottages. The cottage is surrounded on two sides by a spacious terrace, with a barbecue, table for outdoor dining and wonderful views across the valley. A few steps lead down from the terrace to the swimming pool which is surrounded by further grounds. It is a two storied cottage. In the ground floor there is a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen and a shower / WC. A staircase leads to the top floor where is the air-conditioned double bedroom with a large veranda. It is suitable for 4 people.

From our initial communication , Pipitsa was most helpful and informative giving us all the transport options (ferries buses and car hire) on the island .We felt very welcome at d
Daphne cottage .We were amazed by the fabulous views and the lovely terrace and how quiet the place was. The swimming pool was very clean and perfect for our family. The house was also super clean , sheets and towels were changed very often. Our host could not have done more to make our holiday special .The cottage is close to wonderful unspoilt beaches. We discovered new uncrowded beaches on the island every day. The cottage offers good access to supermarkets and local tavernas where we had good value delicious meals . We found the island magical and very unspoilt. Our teenagers were delighted to go on the sunset kayak trip and paddle boarding all in all we had a brilliant holiday Thank you Pipitsa and Giannis !

We fell in love with Daphne Cottage from the minute we arrived. Pipitsa & Giannis are such a lovely, friendly couple and made us feel very welcome. The cottage was extremely clean and well-equipped, simply furnished and full of character. The peaceful surroundings and views across the valley are so beautiful and the two terraces are perfect places for sitting and relaxing. When it got too hot, we just cooled off in the pool, which always looked very inviting. The cottage was very private. We hired a car (essential) and this gave us the freedom to explore the beautiful island of Skopelos.
If you are looking for a peaceful holiday in an idyllic setting then these cottages are for you. We found it very hard to leave :(
