About this villa rental
Villa Pegasus is ideal for people looking for a romantic and peaceful get-a-way whilst being close to the amenities of Skopelos Town, only 10 minutes away by car. It is the perfect spot for walkers, with easy access to many trails, as well as for painters who will appreciate the wonderful scenery.
Interior:
Entry into this simple but unique villa is to the open plan living/dining room with comfortable furnishings and French windows leading out to the front terrace which looks down the wooded valley to Skopelos Town and the sea beyond. The well equipped kitchen continues through from the living room and is complete with dishwasher, with a door off the kitchen into the spacious wc/shower room. Stairs lead up from the kitchen area to the large double bedroom with windows looking out over the hillside. This cottage is built on two levels and is entered from the pool area into a warm and comfortable sitting room with a corner fireplace and open plan kitchen. The terracotta colored walls and dark wood beamed ceilings compliment the colorfully tiled floors. The fully equipped kitchen, with full sized electric cooker/oven, has a big window facing out to the sea. The large double French doors next to the kitchen lead to a terrace that makes for easy serving of al-fresco meals. This living room of this cottage is also comfortably furnished and has a large couch, a sofa (which turns into a bed for 1 person) and spectacular views to the lush green forests and sea. Stairs lead up from the kitchen area to the large double bedroom with windows looking out over the hillside.

The exterior walls have been painted in bright colors, a technique taken from ancient times and which complement the surroundings. There is a BBQ to one side of the house and outside dining table, taking advantage of the shady pergola just outside the main entry door and in front of the private swimming pool and large pool terrace. Villa Pegasus has its own “privacy”, walls and a gated entrance from the private driveway and responding parking area.

It is surrounded by pine forests and close to many of the old donkey tracks across the island. The villa is completely private and not overlooked by the other two villas. Villa Pegasus is situated in the area of Pefkias, on the hillside above Skopelos Town (about 10 minutes by car) and enjoys fantastic views down the lush wooded valley to Skopelos harbor and the sea beyond. 12 km nearest beach - Panormos.

Perfect Romantic Retreat on Skopelos!We had a fantastic stay at this lovely villa on Skopelos. The views were beautiful, and its secluded location offered wonderful peace and privacy, ideal for a romantic getaway.The villa itself was very nice and comfortable. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, making communication super easy with just one quick message.We highly recommend this spot for couples seeking a charming, quiet escape with great views and excellent service. We'd love to return!

We had such a lovely time in this beautiful house. Very private and so relaxing. Great pool. Dimitris is a great host, always available for any queries but never intrusive. Everything has been thought through so the house is really well-equipped and furnished in style. Also, the most comfortable bed we’ve ever had in a rental. Thanks so much Dimitris, we would love to come back!

If you come to Skopelos to seek quietness and peacefulness, I will definitely recommend Villa Pegasus or actualy one off the three Villas you can rent from Dimitris.
Villa Pegasus is perfect located on the hillside and in short distance from beaches as Milla, Stafylos etc and Main town of Skopelos. We had a greate stay, thank you Dimitris for be in touch and make sure that everything was perfect for us.

The villa itself is in an idyllic location and presented in the typical traditional Greek style in doors and out. It is reasonably well equipped but lacking a toaster in the kitchen, which we missed. Pillows on the bed were soft which is a bonus compared to many other places we have stayed in Greece.
The pool was adequate for a cool down dip after roasting in the sun, water surprisingly cold a bit of a shock on first dip, but did the job of a prompt cool down. The property and outdoor area generally appeared a bit tired and in need of TLC. The location of the villa means you loose the late afternoon and evening sun, this will obviously vary on time of year. We were there in September so the villa and garden/pool area was in complete shade by 16.30hrs. The only thing which ruined it for us which was no fault of the owner were the wasp. We only spent 2 days out of 14 lounging by the pool. We were plagued and swarmed by wasp which were worse in the mornings and late afternoon/evening. Couldn't enjoy sitting outside and couldn't leave doors open or they entered the villa, they seemed to swarm around front door and shaded sitting area. The owner was very helpful and got someone to put traps down but these did not make much difference. Don't know if it was just a bad time of year for wasps, we were there September, or if there is a nest nearby it seems the pool attracts them as well. We went out all the other days to escape them.
You definitely need a car to explore the Island. There are lots of quiet secluded beaches to be found other than the popular commercial beaches, but a bit of a hair raising drive to get to some of them due to the steep mountainous narrow windy roads, both tarmac and dirt tracks but worth it, beautiful quiet beaches with crystal clear water. Lots of shrines at the road sides which is a bit disconcerting, so take it as a warning to drive carefully!
Loved Skopelos town, nice nights out exploring all the restaurants which serve traditional Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, these are mostly hidden away from the harbour front up the cobbled streets. Best ones are Perivoli, To Rodi, Olivio and Alexanders. Anna's is also nice but slow service. All are reasonably priced. Good cocktail bar at harbour front only 5 euros each. Everyone very friendly and accommodating and generally all speak English.
Overall we had a fantastic time and Skopelos is a beautiful not over commercialized Island with or without wasps!
