Very short but relaxing stay in a lovely room

A very pleasant, convenient stay for a great price.

I had a short layover at the Nice airport and was lucky to be able to book Nadine's room for the night. It's a short, easy bus ride from the airport and a short walk from the wonderful Renoir museum in Cagnes-sur-Mer. Nadine is the perfect hostess - friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. And she saved my life by discovering my left-behind cell phone and getting it to me just before I boarded the bus to the airport.

No complaints. The shower was a bit tricky to operate, but that's nitpicking. (Note that the part of Avenue des Tuilieres in front of the building is undergoing reconstruction through most of 2025; so access by car is a bit complicated. From the plans, it appears that the new road will be beautiful, with improved space for pedestrians and bicyclists.)

Nadine is very kind and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

This comes more as a suggestion rather than a criticism: please add your full name at the entrance of the building. I could not remember your last name, so I had to dig into the booking app. If one does not have internet or even a possibility to call you, it may be hard finding your bell.

Worst stay I ever had. The host pretends she does not speak any English whenever she doesn't want to answer some questions. Extremely unhospitable. Wasted my money.

Mme. Nadine (host) is very nice and friendly, keeps the place tidy, helps any way she can. Also, the town is close to Nice (buses 9, 200, 400 from/to Square Burdet), and has a beautiful castle and the village on top of the local hill (free shuttle 44 from Square Burdet). Art lovers shouldn't miss the Renoir's house, 100m from the appartment (free on Sundays )

Nothing to dislike as long as you understand that this is a spare room in a private flat.

La douche etait inutilisable. Endroit très bruyant à 3h du matin, les éboueurs passent puis vers 6h du matin les travaux commencent.

bisogna essere chiari, la casa è della sig.ra Nadine (molto a modo) però è casa sua e lei vive li (appartamento piccolo) e sta in casa sempre, appartamento datato e camera da letto antica.

J ai beaucoup.aimé cette nuitée chez Nadine le cocon de la chambre le sommier excellent la propreté la proximité avec le centre et surtout l'accueil sympathique de l hôte . Nadine est à la fois accueillante chaleureuse et discrète.
