Perfect location. Very central, with an amazing bakery, cake shop just opposite and a short stroll to all the delights of Thiseio. It was pleasantly cool during the heat of the day, due to being in the basement. The price was extremely reasonable.
The kitchen equipment had not been cleaned properly - toaster, frying pan, knobs on oven). There was practically no natural light or air circulation. The only window opened on to the feet of passers by at street level so we never opened the shutters. The kitchen door opened on to a narrow, underground passage, so gave no light, making it necessary to have lights on all the time.
