Overall, no real negatives

Very attentive host and great location. I even bought a metro pass for my whole stay but ended up using it only to go back to the airport, since I was able to do everything on foot. The apartment delivers exactly what is promised in the listing.

Just note that the bathroom is extremely small, which can be a bit inconvenient when using the toilet or showering. However, I had already seen this mentioned in other reviews, so I was aware of it and didn’t mind.

Good value for the location so can't complain.

Very good value. Beds adequately comfortable, location good for walking to places in Athens. Room and bathroom were clean.

Not really an apartment, just an unmanned hotel. No table or chairs in the room so no real chance to self cater. Slightly dodgy looking lift so climbed lots of stairs each time.

Could be better.

1. The room is localized near the city centre. 2. It was relatively cheap.

1. The neighbourhood didn't feel safe. 2. The bathroom was tiny. The mirror was not hanging on the wall, but it was standing on the toilet. 3. There were no plates in the room. We didn't have place to clean mugs, we had to clean it in the bathroom. 4. The lift was very old, and I am not sure if it was actually safe.

Good location

The location was good and transportation was very easy. The keyless access was really convenient. They also communicated with us very quickly and easily, which made the whole process much smoother.

Although there was enough space, there were no shelves, wardrobe, or hangers at all. Even just adding a couple of hooks or a simple solution on the wall would make it much more comfortable.

- Very bad location, don’t walk by the park next to the hotel by night - Doorless elevator - Room without closet, no space at all to put our stuff - A garden table in the room, not even an indoor table

Great hotel for location and cost.

This was a great hotel for the cost. It's very basic, which is reflected in the cost. The communications from the hotel were great, better than all my other hotels in Greece. The room was clean and comfortable. The free coffee's and tea's were a great bonus. The bathroom was very clean -- my kids joked a lot about the tiny shower, but I loved it. The location is amazing, can walk to Plaka and Acropolis and everything! Free street parking!

The neighborhood seemed sketchy, but after a couple of nights there it seemed pretty safe. I believe this is in China town. I did see some cars were broken into, so I feared for my car. The A/C never seemed cold enough for me, I had it on full blast and I still woke up at night too hot, but my family seemed fine so maybe its just me. Our room was on the 6th floor, so beware of lots of stairs as the elevator only fits 2 people. Our family of 4 would have 2 people in the elevator while the other 2 took the stairs. The top bunk bed scared me, there was no railing and the stairs to it were loose -- but we just brought the mattress to the floor and slept there and everything was fine.

The room was a great deal in a good location. The area is definately in the heart of the city so beware.

The shower in the bathroom was unacceptable. When I showered, water leaked out and flooded the room even though the bath door was closed tightly

Overall a nice little private flat at a good location.

The bathroom. You have to sit sideways on the toilet. The sink is impractically small for washing hands. When showering the water can leak into the room because there is a big gap under the door. Weak/low pressure cold water. Not a single hook anywhere to hang your clothes or towels. WiFi was working but struggling sometimes.

Great location and kind host

The location is excellent — everything is within walking distance, which made exploring the city really easy. The host was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Everything went smoothly, and overall, the value for money was quite decent. I would recommend this place to flexible young couples looking for a good base in Athens.

The only downside for me was that the bathroom/toilet was quite small, but still manageable.

Convienient location for visit to Athens

This room is really convienient for the historic centre of Athens. The room was as we expected. When you come out of the building if you turn right and cross the road and walk past the big red hotel on the left, this takes you through a lovely area with bars and restuarants and it takes you to Monistiraki square. Where you can take a tourist bus around the city, We used the grey line as at the time they were giving 2 days for 20 euros. The area around the room is a little bit run down, but I felt safe. For the amount of money this exceeded our expectations.

The room could have had some teaspoons and maybe a knife and small chopping board and maybe a couple of bowls. We managed to eat our breakfast out of the yogurt pots with the 6 teaspoons that we bought. We left the spoons there for the next guests.

Perfect for a short stay while travelling.

The location was perfect! Only a five minute walk from tons of restaurants, bars, and cafes. About ten minutes from Monastiraki metro station. Was exactly what we needed for one night before getting a ferry.

The bathroom was very small and the shower caused water to leak throughout the room which was messy and inconvenient. There are also no hooks to hang up towels or anything else.

You get what you pay for. Cheap.

There’s no space for your legs when you sit on the toilet as it’s basically in the shower. The view was of derelict buildings. It’s on the edge of a pretty rough rundown looking area. If you stay here when you walk out the door walk right and you’re okay, close to some decent cafes and bars but walk left and it’s homeless and druggies in the street

Good location but there’s room for improvement

Excellent location and communication. However, there are a few things to improve. First of all, as there’s no wardrobe, a few hooks to hang your clothes would be needed. There’s no towel rail or toilet paper holder. The water keeps leaking into the room after a shower. There’s no cutlery or plates.

It was clean. Beds are ok. There is a kitchen.

Good value for money and good location. Try the local food!

It was great value for money considering the facilities it came with and nice and close the main attractions. There were also lots of cheap food options close by that we highly recommend trying! Vips Desi Fast Food and Pak Tikka Grill House were the cheapest and best meals we had.

Sadly we found what we think is a bed bug on our last night stay. The shower was a little bit too cramped but otherwise the other facilities were good.

The toilet of the room 31 was disgusting and like 1x1metres. It was impossible to take a shower in a easy way. The toilet flush didn't work well at all.

We had a few hours in Athens and chose this apartment due to its excellent location and affordable price. Although the room was small, it was clean and had everything we needed for our one-day stay. Unqualified and deceptive! I don't recommend it to anyone!

Some attractions were close to the accommodation.

The host contacted me by email a few days before the trip. Did you ask when I will arrive? Since I had to travel a long distance by car, I couldn't say that. I replied that I would call from 100 km from Athens. I did that too. Then he taught me that it doesn't work that way. In the next email he sent, he gave the possibility to enter the accommodation. The accommodation is a disaster! The uploaded images are misleading. Bathroom stinks, no curtains and no ventilation. Kitchen incomplete.
