Comfort, Quality and Warm Hospitality

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help, which made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was comfortable and neat, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The view was absolutely spectacular – a real highlight! Breakfast was first class, with a great selection and excellent quality. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

It’s clean,people were friendly at reception and the restaurant. I loved the free wine bottle.

Honestly except for one of the male guest annoying me on the lift(nothing violent or sexual), everything was perfectly fine.

The property and the location are all good and no issues there

The issue I have is that the hotel does not seem to like the fact that the booking was made through Booking.com. They would not deal with my query regarding amending the date saying it had to be done through Booking.com When Booking.com contacted them they got no response from the hotel. When we questioned the hotel they weren’t really interested .. they just kept saying that it was something for Booking.com to sort .. as if it was a hassle and too much trouble for them. I won’t book the property again

The stay was awesome and comfortable ,just that house keeping needs to up their game

Breakfast was awesome(delicious) and the staff serving were the best good to all of us. I would go there again inshAllah.they accomodated me as a Muslim too,that was something I loved the most . Not to forget the general manager Tanja who went out of her Way to make us feel more happy and treated my mother and kids with so much care and Love 💕.we traveled as a family and it was my mother's birthday ,she made our stay so beautiful.i can say 1 thing about her, she's the face you want to see Infront and hoping that Southern Sun appreciate her.i will come back bcz of her, hoping she Will still be there inshAllah.

I didn't like that the rooms were cleaned later and when I asked one of the ladies in front desk Ekhona,she gave me attitude and she was very unfriendly.we would be forced to keep quiet for peace 's sake.

Always a good stay great rooms and good breakfast

Newly renovated rooms were great although I missed the bathrooms with the tub.

The good from room service was very average from previous occasions I stayed at this hotel. For example I ordered the soup of the day which was supposed to be creamy chicken. Other than a few strips of chicken I think the chef dropped the pepper container into the soup and was not edible.

The first room we were put in was on the smokers floor, which we didn’t want and it was grubby. The second week we were changed to a better room, which was better but was on the 6th floor. When the lift stopped working, it was very difficult because my wife is disabled.

The hotel is well managed and in the perfect location in relation to the office building I need to go to. I got exceptional service from Hazel in reception, Wayne in the restaurant and from the manager Delnayde. Thank you for your contribution in making my stay pleasant.

My room had low water pressure in the shower and little to no hot water in the last night and next morning of ny stay, I did notify the team on the last morning and they came up to inspect but my wife was in the shower already, my daughter and I then quickly showered as it didnt make sense for the guys to inspect as we were checking out and pressed for time to check out. Maybe in future just offer an alternative room to shower quick.

Room was interleading family room which lead to massive noise issues from the adjoining room. As a couple we should never have been booked into a family room with adjoining door. Both Friday night and Sunday night were noisy. We had to call hotel staff to settle the kids down on Sunday night. The decor is old and outdated. The room was only catered for 1 person - 1 coffee, 1 glass for wine, 1 bottle of water. Water was not replenished on Sunday morning.

I enjoyed a clean breakfast hall with food displayed nicely . I enjoyed the Kipper fish which unfortunately was only offered twice in the week.

I found the staff in the breakfast hall to be very poor in communication and lacked professionalism. On 3 occasions we had to remind them of our order . The small variety of pastries and breads was not ideal and same can be said for the juice bar. I Found the scramballed eggs to be of a poor quality.
