Perfect location for exploring Barley and the surrounding Pendle area, particularly as you can climb Pendle Hill and walk the Sculpture Trail straight from the door of the cottage. There are also two great pubs and a cafe very close by, so there was no real need to use our car during the weekend.
The cottage is lovely inside with plenty of space for everyone, as well as some great outdoor space which we used a lot as the weather was beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the welcome pack provided by Neil and Jane was exceptionally generous and much appreciated.
Nothing - although there are quite a few steep steps at the property so it may not suit everyone.

The cottage was amazing. Neil & Jane left us a beautiful welcome basket and were so helpful with everything we needed. Can't recommend Narrowgates Cottage highly enough.
