About this cottage rental

Two bed period cottage, in the delightful village of Barley, at the foot of Pendle Hill. In the Forest of Bowland, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Neceling in the heart of the village, in a secluded cobbled courtyard and fronting the river, the cottage has a lovely farmhouse kitchen, compleat with appliances, cozy sitting room with log burner, two double ensuite bathrooms, period features and is ideal for either two couples or small family.

It’s a gorgeous cottage and the location is perfect for exploring Pendle. Several walks start and finish within a few yards of the cottage including various routes up Pendle Hill. Lovely quiet location, beds, showers and all facilities were excellent and Simon a very helpful host. Would thoroughly recommend.

Last minute booking to enjoy the weather but will be returning for numerous reasons - location (village is lovely), stunning cottage, great host and so much more. We had the best stay here, even if it was just for one night.
