Bumblebee Cottage nestled in stunning countryside.

Lovely countryside location in a small courtyard of properties. Spacious lounge and well equipped kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. Warm and cosy. Loved that we could walk from the cottage into either neighbouring village for the pub, but also it was only a short drive to the supermarket.

Unfortunately we couldn't use the garden furniture as the cushions had been left out and were soaking. We also would have appreciated wood for the fire (there were just a few pieces of pallet in the wood store). The only place to eat was a very small breakfast bar at the kitchen window which was not ideal.

Cozy, clean cottage in perfect location. Little home from home, everything we needed. Lovely little well equipped kitchen and cozy wood burner. Within walking distance to 3 great pubs and lots of lovely walks.

Such a cosy sweet cottage. Lovely and warm despite the cold outside. So well presented with everything we needed and super clean. It’s a beautiful location, very peaceful. Waking up to horses walking by was delightful and a great place to start the Pendle witch trail. On a side note…the TV was fabulous, my daughter and I love to watch a good film at the end of a busy day of ‘touristing’ and this was the perfect place to do exactly that! The garden was very pretty with a lovely seating area, although it was too cold for us to sit out, instead, we snuggled down in front of the tv and had a little fire in the wood burning stove, everything was provided to start a good fire :)

Located close to barley and amenities

No parking space so loading and unloading not ideal sofa was very uncomfortable and handle to wood burner broken not good wood provided was ok but burnt to quickly so constantly putting in needs longer burning more sustainable wood very cold upon arrival never had just a fleece topper before to sleep in no duvet or sheets ? An old ice cream tub of old cutlery to use not very inviting plates tiny upstairs towels smelt and were hard in the daylight the garden is in a shocking state very untidy
