Ancelle Cristo Re

We were a group of 6 friends who stayed for 4 nights in the beachfront 3-bedroom villa at Ancelle Cristo Re, and we absolutely loved our experience! The villa was spacious and comfortable, with an amazing outdoor area and breathtaking sea views. Being able to step straight out of our room into the sea was incredible, and the free snorkelling gear provided made it even more special. The sisters who look after the accommodation were absolutely wonderful and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. The breakfasts were delicious, and when we mentioned that we wanted to try different local fruits, they kindly made sure we had a variety of fresh local fruits every day. Such a thoughtful touch! Their kindness and hospitality went far beyond what we expected. They helped us organise taxis and rental motorbikes, and when one of our friends became unwell, they even cooked food for them. We were so touched by how genuinely caring and helpful they were. What made our stay even more meaningful was knowing that all the profits go towards supporting an orphanage. It is wonderful to know that by staying here, we were also contributing to such a good cause. We cannot recommend Ancelle Cristo Re highly enough! If you are looking for a beautiful beachfront stay in Moalboal with incredible views, warm hospitality, delicious food and a meaningful purpose behind it, this is the place to be. Everything about this place was perfect. From the vibes and serenity to all the comforts you need to have a perfect time relaxing. Hosts were so helpful and we even got to snorkel past the shallows to the reefs where we saw two turtles.

Quiet and private

We stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved it. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave and even wished we could stay a little longer. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and very private. The two sisters were incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. You can really feel how much love and care they put into this place. Even the smallest details, like the way the toothbrushes, soap, and toiletries are neatly arranged, show how thoughtful they are. Some of the facilities may be a little dated, but everything is very well maintained. The room is spacious, Wi-Fi works well, breakfast is generous, and you can wake up to a beautiful view of the sea. There are also some great restaurants nearby, so everything is very convenient. We especially loved the private beach. It’s clean, quiet, and perfect for relaxing. There are lots of fish and even starfish in the water, which would also make this a wonderful place for families with children. After three days here, my partner and I both felt that this is more than just a place for a holiday. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and stay for a while. We even joked that one day, when we’re older, we would love to retire somewhere just like this — peaceful, surrounded by nature, and close to the sea. Apart from going out for food, we barely wanted to leave. It truly felt like the simple, peaceful life we dream about. We would definitely love to come back someday.

Some of the facilities are a little dated, but everything is clean and very well maintained. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.
