About this apartment rental
Casa Arnia is a beautiful farmhouse on the hill in the wine growing heart of Franciacorta. We are surrounded by olive groves, chestnut groves and vineyards. We are only 7 km from Lake Iseo.
A pretty stream that descends from the 7 Monticelli waterfalls defines the property.
We have been running our hotel since 1990, we were the first agriturismo in the Province of Brescia,
In 2017 we decided to renovate two of our apartments and offer them as a holiday home.
Relaxation and tranquility surround our house as well as the beautiful landscape. You can enjoy sunny days on our panoramic balcony with a view or under our beautiful porch.
The seasonal products from our garden are available to our customers, which you can pick to cook them, as well as the honey we produce.
The Relax cottage is a spacious and bright 60 sqm apartment on the mezzanine floor, suitable for 4 people. The entrance is independent and is accessed by a large porch, where you can have lunch or dinner during the summer. The living area is composed of a living room with a fully equipped open kitchen with appliances, a dining area with a table, a bench and chairs, a comfortable sofa bed, a TV, a relaxing chaise lounge and a wood-burning stove to complete the decor. The open space overlooks a panoramic balcony overlooking the vineyards. The sleeping area consists of a large double bedroom, a bathroom with shower.

Die Unterkunft zeichnet sich besonders durch die liebevolle Betreuung der Gastgeber aus. Es wächst und gedeiht dort alles, was das Herz begehrt und wir wurden reichlich beschenkt. Wie der Garten Eden.
Toll sind auch die hygienische Betreuung, wie zum Beispiel die frischen Handtücher und Bettwäsche, die nach 1 Woche getauscht wurden. Keine Selbstverständlichkeit.
Wir waren gerne da und traurig, als wir abreisen mussten

The apartment is clean, well equipped, with lots of space and is situated in a quiet, secluded location about 5 mins drive outside Monticelli Brusati (about 15 mins away from Iseo). So, a car would definitely be recommended when staying at this property as it would be about a 20 minute walk to the village. There is ample parking outside the property in the grounds. While Chiara (the property manager) does not speak English, she made sure that we had everything we needed - ipads and google translate came in useful! The main room has a balcony with french windows and the high ceiling and 4 lots of windows create a very light and airy space. There is no passing traffic and the hamlet is mainly surrounded with farmland and vineyards. Make sure you get get specific directions to the property as the map on the HomeAway website gets you to the correct road, but the property is a little further on than is shown on that map. A map/diagram of the location would be useful, as the house is a little 'tucked away'.
We spent most of our time there exploring the villages and scenery around Lake Iseo, which is smaller and quieter than Lake Garda and Lake Como but just as dramatic. It is possible to drive around the whole of Lake Iseo in about 90 mins (c 40 miles / 68km) but you will want to stop at many of the lovely villages, so a number of days covering different sections is recommended - but no really lengthy drives are involved.

Les propriétaires sont très accueillants malgré la barrière de la langue. Font partager leurs productions (miel et tomates pour ce qui nous concerne)...
Le gîte est grand pour 2 et bien entretenu. Il est aussi au calme, à l'abri du site touristique du lac d'Iséo qui attire beaucoup de monde au mois d'août !
