apartment on the lake

Ana’s apartment is delightful. It is well decorated and artistic. The bed is comfortable. Definitely larger than we expected from the listing. The balcony is a great retreat with plenty of room. Perfect for a cup of coffee or an afternoon of watercolor. The location is 10 min walk to the train and one block from the lake. Restaurants all around cater to guests. Ana is charming and welcoming. She met us personally, oriented us, and made us feel at home. A beautiful, perfect Lake Iseo experience.

What a wonderful time we had in Iseo. Rene was there to welcome us and point us in the right direction regarding local shops etc. The apartment itself is well appointed and the terrace is a wonderful place to sit. Iseo itself is a fabulous place to base oneself for a visit to the area. Small enough for everything in town to be walkable (about 8 minutes to the train station for trips farther afield) but big enough to enjoy all the amenities. There are many fabulous restaurants in Iseo including the two right beside the apartment. Being right in the old town does mean that there is no parking immediately next to the apartment but there is free parking only about 6 minutes walk away. But being right in the town is part of the attraction of this place and we had a wonderful 9 nights - and would have been happy to stay longer, we didn’t get round to all the things we could have done. Highly recommended
