About this chalet rental

Ideally located in Saint Gervais les Bains, facing Mont Blanc, large family chalet of 160m2 with all comforts (classified 3***) on three levels with beautiful fireplace, large terrace and large garden.
It has 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets, all on 3 floors.
It is located a few minutes drive from the village of Saint Gervais les bains and the cable car.
"Children friendly", the house is equipped with 2 high chairs, umbrella beds, toys, sandbox, small playground in the garden.

The chalet is ideal for a group, as it is on 3 floors!
Ground floor: 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with 3 single bunk beds, shower room, WC.
First Floor: 1 double bedroom with water point, 1 double bedroom, large and bright living room, kitchen, shower room, WC.
Second Floor: 1 double bedroom with en-suite WC, separate alcove with 1 single bed, bathroom.

It is a few minutes by car (2.5km) from the cable car. Depending on snow conditions, it is possible to reach the red piste "St Gervais" which passes 200m from the chalet. The free shuttle bus passes 100m from the chalet.

At 2,5km (5 minutes by car) from the centre of Saint Gervais, its restaurants, shops, ice rink, swimming pool, tennis court and its famous thermal baths ("Les Bains du Mont Blanc" with a new wellness area, SPA, relaxation...) I guarantee you a wonderful holiday in summer and winter in an exceptional and idyllic setting!

The 450km ski area covering Saint Gervais, Megève and Saint Nicolas de Véroce is one of the largest in France. Goed ,de keuken minder en de toegang naar chalet was ook een doolhof er lag geen sneeuw anders tot wel moeilijk toegankelijk voor toeristen, dit zou vermeld moeten worden op de site wij zijn vaker in Saint Gervais voor dergelijke locatie's is de prijs aan de hoge kant. Verder hebben wij genoten, het is een gezellig huis met voldoende ruimte voor 11 pers .Met vriendelijke groet Marijke In de Braak

Very good location. 5 minutes drive from the telecabine to Bettex. Very easy to find. 10-15 minutes from the larger supermarkets. Lots of space, there were 9 of us and there was plenty of room. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. Plenty of space to dry ski gear. WiFi good.

We were 3 families sharing the chalet for a week in the summer. We were instantly smitten by the views of the mountains around us and spent a lot of time leaning on the balcony saying "wow". The chalet had everything we needed and both adults and children settled happily on the 3 floors. Plenty of parking and a huge garage to store bikes was helpful. The surrounding area had plenty to offer and we enjoyed trips up the cable cars to walk in the mountains and also drives to the lakes to swim. The kitchen had everything we needed and 3 toilets meant no queues. Great to have a DVD player in a separate room allowing peaceful evenings for the adults when the children needed to relax. We had many barbecues on the balcony, with plenty of seating and a big table. A 10 minute drive to the supermarket, shops and cafes, so no time wasted in the car, although it was of course a steep and winding road. Philipe and Stephanie were very helpful but didn't intrude. We all want to visit again next year and will definitely stay here if possible. Thank you for an amazing week and hope to see you soon.

I rented Philippe's chalet to celebrate my parents's 50th anniversary. We invited some of their friends over. I wanted comfortable accommodation, easy access to walking paths and good views from the terrasse, for not everybody was able to walk. All of these criteria were met. The chalet, albeit smaller in reality than on the pictures, offers everything promised in the description. All the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable. The kitchen is small but sufficiently equipped for holiday cooking. The terrasse was great at any time of the day and perfect for pre-diner drinks. The views from it are absolutely superb and we enjoy them every day, be it on bright and sunny afternoons or on eery misty mornings! On one occasion we went out for diner to the nearby Ferme de Cupelin - literally 5 minutes walk down the road -, which was a pleasant surprise: the food is nice, creative and well presented and the staff is very friendly. We particularly enjoyed the bottle of Sartene Blanc from Corsica ! There are several walks available directly from the chalet, some climbing up to the Bettex cable car and the Mont d'Arbois, some strolling to nearby Combloux - with beautiful views on Saint Gervais and Sallanche valleys, and on the Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi on the way back -, some winding down to Saint Gervais, the Crepin waterfalls and the Jardin Thermal in Le Fayet. My parents and their friends were delightetd with their stay . All of us want to thank Philippe for accommodating such a special occasion!

We hired this chalet for most of the season (Jan until April) and had a great time. Location was very good, a short drive into the town and the main lift. Even though the snow was not as good as previous seasons we still managed to ski from the chalet during the main holiday weeks. Very easy to access other close by resorts also for extra variety. Access was fine, but a car with winter tyres is needed because the roads are quite steep in this area. Loads of room in the chalet, five rooms all with comfortable beds, very charismatic layout. Plenty of storage room including a garage that was very handy for ski, food and drink storage. Only slight issue was a lack of comfortable seating in the lounge area when we had a good number of guests around for the evening. Local bus stop very handy if you don't wish to use the car to access the ski area, but be aware this only operates at peak weeks. Philippe the owner is very nice and a pleasure to deal with. A large house with many bedrooms, great for large families. We enjoyed many dinners on the large balcony overlooking Mt Blanc, as we had 2 weeks of very hot weather. The downstairs bedrooms were lovely and cool. Overall very clean. If the weather is not great (or in winter) the living room would be too small for a large group, and the kitchen is big enough for only 1-2 people at a time. The town of St Gervais Les Bains (the closest shop) is accessible only by car down a very windy and steep road. The town has a good selection of restaurants and the surrounding area has many hiking and swimming opportunities.

Wij hebben het huisje geboekt voor iets meer dan een week. Prima huis, lekker groot met alles erop en eraan. Daarnaast hebben wij heel erg genoten van het uitzicht. Wij verbleven met drie gezinnen met kinderen. Wij komen hier zeker weer terug.

Chalet situé dans un endroit très calme avec une vue vraiment magnifique. La pièce principale est très lumineuse. La distribution des pièces est parfaite pour que chacun puisse y trouver son intimité. Philippe, le propriétaire, comme Stéphanie qui nous a accueilli, sont des personnes très agréables et soucieuses de notre bien-être. Nous garderons de notre séjour un excellent souvenir.

Hemos estado 4 días en esta casa (dos parejas con nuestros niños) y nos ha encantado. Un lugar tranquilo, en medio de la naturaleza con unas vistas de ensueño. La casa es muy amplia y cómoda y tiene todo lo necesario para que la estancia sea especial. El propietario muy educado y atento y dispuesto a ayudar en cada momento. Sin lugar a dudas un lugar para recordar y si algún día volvemos a la zona repetiría. Gracias por todo!!!

Bon séjour passé dans le chalet. Agréable et confortable. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer une bonne semaine sans soucis. Entre le bettex et le centre de Saint Gervais, il faut en général 15 min en voiture pour rejoindre un des deux endroits. Le seul point négatif pour ma part est que la navette gratuite (qui passe près du chalet) n'est pas assez desservi pour atteindre le bettex. Heureusement qu'il n'a pas neigé sur la route lors de mon séjour sinon on aurait eu dur d accéder le bettex en voiture. Merci pour l'accueil.

Wir waren mit sieben Erwachsene und vier Kindern unter drei Jahren auf der Hütte. Die Hütte ist schön und man hat dort eigentlich alles was man benötigt. Das eine Zimmer mit dem Doppelt ist kein eigenständiges Zimmer, sonder ein Spielzimmer im Eltern Schlafzimmer. Das war auf den Bildern und in der Beschreibung nicht wirklich zu sehen/lesen. Für uns hat es aber trotzdem gepasst. Wenn es schneit sollte man aber unbedingt Schneecketten dabei haben, sonst wird es trotz Allrad unmöglich zur Hütte oder von der Hütte wegzufahren. Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Nous avions choisi ce chalet pour profiter entre autre du festival Cosmojazz de Chamonix ce que nous avons pu faire parfaitement. Nous étions sept dont deux enfants et avons apprécié l'espace et l'agencement permettant aux enfants de s'exprimer sans gêner les adultes. Seul petit bémol le frigo trop petit pour sept par grosse chaleur.

Wir sind mit 10 Personen angereist in der Zeit vom 10.03.-16.03.2018. Wir haben die Zeit in dem Chalet sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind gut im Haus aufgeteilt, sodass auch jeder seinen Rückzugsraum hat. Die Küche hat alles an Geräten und Geschirr was man sich so vorstellen kann. Wir haben bis auf einen Abend täglich für alle 10 Personen gekocht. Wir waren uns einig, dass wir so eine toll ausgestattete Küche bislang noch nicht in einer Ferienwohnung hatten. Zudem gibt es einen Grill. Der Kamin ist wohl das Herzstück des gesamten Hauses, ebenso wie der große einladende Tisch an dem wirklich jeder Platz hat. Das Haus wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es ist ein Ort um sich rundum wohl zu fühlen. Das Bad in der untersten Etage verfügt über eine wunderbare Regendusche, die nach einem anstrengenden Skitag für ausreichend Entspannung sorgt. Leider war das Wetter in der Woche nicht optimal, sodass es uns nicht möglich war mit den Skiern zur Piste zu fahren. Der Fußmarsch zur Piste nimmt circa 15 Minuten in Anspruch. Wenn man dann am nächstgelegenen Abschnitt der Talabfahrt einsteigt benötigt man als geübter Skifahrer bei guten Schneeverhältnissen etwa 5-10 Minuten bis zur Talstation.

La seule qu'il faudrait indiquer c'est que l'accès au chalet se fait par un chemin particulièrement pentu où ne peut circuler qu'un véhicule. Pas infaisable mais ça peut devenir compliqué en cas de mauvais temps.

Superbe chalet avec une vue incroyable sur le massif du MontBlanc. Il est spacieux sur 3 étages avec une belle cheminée que nous avons pu utiliser et sa terrasse est très agreable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour avec notre groupe d'amis qui ont tous été séduit par cet hébergement. Une voiture est nécessaire pour atteindre Saint-Gervais ou le départ des pistes au Bettex par la route. Si la piste "Saint-Gervais" est ouverte, il est possible de l'atteindre en 10min à pieds. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par le propriétaire qui nous a indiqué toutes les bonnes adresses de Saint-Gervais. Je ne peux que recommander cette location.

wir haben uns als große Familie sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem schönen, gepflegten, gemütlichen Haus, für alle war es passend von den Räumlichkeiten, von der Ausstattung her fehlt nichts, es hat einen persönlichen Charme, was ich sehr schätze, der Ausblick von der Terasse auf den Monat Blanc ist atemberaubend, die Anbindung an das Skigebiet auf dem Mont d´Arbois ist gut, trotz des wenigen Schnees standen 19 verschiedene Pisten zur Verfügung, Philippe und seine nette Nachbarin Stephanie waren sehr hilfsbereit, ein sehr angenehmer Kontakt, vielen Dank Philippe wir werden Sie als Vermieter von Herzen gern weiterempfehlen!
