About this chalet rental
We are renting out our family chalet in La Villette, halfway between St. Gervais-les-Bains and Les Contamines-Montjoie, which was completely renovated in early 2021.
The chalet is located in a quiet, sunny hamlet. It is easily accessible by road, either from the St. Gervais-le-Fayet train station (less than 10 km away) or from the highway (15 km away).
The chalet sits on a wooded 1,000 m² lot with a large south-facing terrace offering a beautiful panoramic view of the Contamines-Montjoie valley.
Sledding around the chalet is perfectly safe!
The ski areas of St. Gervais and Les Contamines are equidistant from the chalet, less than a 10-minute drive away, with ample parking at the base of the gondolas.
In Les Contamines: outdoor ice rink, dog sledding, and a recreation park.
In St. Gervais: thermal baths, a swimming pool, and a spa center.
A shuttle bus stops a 10-minute walk from the chalet, taking you to the center of St. Gervais.
Numerous hiking trails start from the chalet, including the one to Mont Vorassay, which takes you close to the Bionnassey Glacier.
The chalet consists of:
- 1 ski room for storing ski gear and drying clothes,
- 2 bedrooms with a double bed
- 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds
-1 bedroom with 2 twin beds
-1 bedroom with 2 single beds
-3 bathrooms
-fully equipped kitchen
-TV/internet connection
-garden furniture, a beach umbrella, lounge chairs, and a barbecue are also provided.

You will be welcomed by a resident of the hamlet who is available to assist you.

The property is just perfect. Plenty of room, kitchen full equiped with anything you may need for cooking (we were eleven), charming wooden backterrace, bbq, lots of boardgames for the kids, stuff for sports (table tennis, boulle...)...
The location is just perfect. Close yo everything you can visit (25 min to Chamonix) but hidden off the beaten path (between St Gervais and Contamines, the road dies at the end of the valley, so is really quiet). Sitting un the terrace you can even see the glaciers behind Bionassay área.
Expectations were high, the experience has been way over expectations. We have had such a great time!!!

We had a very nice one week skiing vacation staying in that chalet with two families and a total of 10 people. The chalet is very well equiped and cosy. We had absolutely sufficient space for all of us. It is a short drive to the skiing slopes with a fantastic skiing area. We would come back to that chalet again.
