White Sand Cottage #501 "Life's A Beach House!" This bright happy home will definitely put you into a vacation state of mind from the time you enter. Whether you are looking for a place to have morning coffee (Keurig and coffeemaker) or afternoon cocktails you have a plethora of options.
The roof top observation deck offers outstanding views in all directions as well as a good place for the sun seekers among you to catch some rays. There are covered decks on both the south and west sides of the 1st floor living area. The living area, dining area and kitchen are all open, and ideally designed for entertaining and family time together. The main level of the home also has one bedroom with a queen bed which shares a bathroom with the living area. The second floor of the home houses the master bedroom with king bed, en-suite bath and balcony access as well as a bedroom with two twin beds, en-suite bath and balcony access.
There is a dune walkover 30' to the west of the property providing super easy beach access. This home offers garage parking for two vehicles and additional parking on the south side of the home for one vehicle. The biggest challenge that guests of this home will experience is forcing themselves to leave on departure day.

The vacation rental was clean.

This was our 5th year staying at Life’s A Beach for a family reunion trip. The house is conveniently located to other family members who stay at the White Sands Townhomes facing the beach. We love the location close to grocery, restaurants and activities. The gorgeous views of both the gulf and the sound, and beautiful sunsets can’t be beat. The house is nicely decorated and comfy but starting to show a little wear and tear with some areas needing updates. The cleaning fee is steep and for the price we were disappointed to find hairs in the bathroom drawers of the upstairs master bathroom and crunched up pretzels and nuts in the living room under the couch and inside the pullout bed. Also, after each year of dealing with this realty company, and having to wait until well into the afternoon hours to get into the house, it appears that, this realty manages more units than it can handle, and/or has a shortage of personnel. In my opinion a 5 pm checkin time is unacceptable. This year we waited in the parking lot at the house when we arrived to observe the process. A 1 person cleaning crew was in the process of cleaning and finished at 11:30 am. After that there was a 3 hour wait for an “inspector” from the realty to come do an inspection of the cleanliness of the house before checkin is allowed. Apparently the hair in bathroom and food in and under the couch was missed. Sadly, after 5 years of dealing with the checkin process of this realty company we decided to stay elsewhere next year. But our family will have fond Life’s A Beach!
