About this apartment rental

Completely appointed 1-bedroom /1-bath apartment perfect for the savvy traveler. Centrally located in the heart of West Sedona with the best views of the Mighty Thunder Mountain, 3 miles from "uptown". The suite is spacious, well-appointed and offers a excellent value choice for your Sedona home away from home. Your balcony has a table and chairs right outside the sliding-glass doors in the living room, provides a front-row seat to the mystical and colorful shadows on the Mighty Thunder Mountain. The private spacious bedroom has an adjoining bath and is located in the back of the suite backed up the forest, and very quiet.
The Private 2nd story suites are above quiet retail space on the main street of Sedona, 89A, which can be busy with traffic during the day. The Suites provide easy access to Sedona's many variety of amenities as well as providing a centrally located home-base to explore Northern Arizona. The Suites are a short distance to grocery stores, restaurants, wine-bar with music, art galleries, shops, day spa, movie theatre, bike rentals, ATV rentals, etc....
The evenings are quiet, peaceful and star-filled.

The hostess was very accommodating. The room was very clean and well supplied. The location was very disappointing being located right on a busy highway. The advertisement stated “”best view “ of the red rock mountains as it was spoiled by a large tree, power lines and commercial and residential buildings. Because of those issues I found the advertisement for the unit very misleading. Nonetheless, Sedona was enjoyed immensely.

Nice, comfortable, having laundry was great, bed was good, kitchen fine for making meals. Living area was nice and comfortable. Mary, our host, was very nice. As others have mentioned, there was noise from the road, but we didn’t mind, and it was quieter in the bedroom. Thunder Mountain right across the street was a happy view :-)We’d gladly stay again!

Mary is awesome. Made us feel very welcome and gave us good suggestions with hiking. The apartment is SO close to amazing trails, the stupa, restaurants, grocery store is a half mile away, etc. Hardly used the car. Gorgeous views from the great room. Great having a kitchen and washer & dryer.

We were in Sedona for three days to do some hiking and unwind before heading back to California. The weather was in the mid 90's, which for July was very nice. Our stay at Red Rock Suites was all we could ask for. It was quiet, homey and relaxing. Best of all it was convenient as it was just far enough from the center of town enabling us to avoid the hustle & bustle we were trying to get away from to begin with. We plan on visiting Sedona again in the fall and staying at Red Rock Suites as well.

The apartment was comfortable for three adults, with one large sofa available for a single adult or child. Place was clean and well furnished. Lots of guides to surrounding places. The host is very friendly and helped us find great hiking places close by.

The road noise was surprising since we expected a beautiful view on a balcony. At closer look of the photos posted -there is no photo of the balcony and if you look close you can see the street. It faces the main road into Sedona. We were disappointed to learn that heating was two space heaters and A/C was one very small unit on the floor! We needed both on our March trip there. There should be more dishes and more than one stained coffee mug. I would recommend bringing your own TP since only a small amount is provided. The host Mary did greet us and was very nice and answered our questions.

Mary was the perfect hostess and was very responsive and helpful. The place inside was exactly as expected and worked out really well for us. We really liked the layout of the apartment. It has a large living area with an open kitchen, large bathroom which was wonderful, and the bedroom was comfortable. The only reason I didn't give a 5 stars was that the apartment is the second floor over a business and not very attractive. But to be honest that wasn't a big deal. We were so comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!

This is great location, easy access to everything and at a great price. The place was cute- in person it was cuter and larger than we expected! It was very clean, and she had the heaters going so it was nice and warm for us when we arrived. Very communicative after booking through us checking in. We were held up and arrived super late, but she was ready and waiting to receive us, give us a tour and show us how to access our place. She was so friendly, warm, and welcoming and set the tone for the stay. There was a spot for us to have coffee out on the balcony area in the morning or stargaze in the evening, great comfy seating options in the living room area, fun art and so much info and resources to get the most out of our trip. The red rock parking pass was a great perk! The kitchen is fully stocked (like even a tea kettle, can opener, mixing bowls, crockpot, a water pitcher with a filter!) and again, everything was very clean. We really got way more than just a place to sleep and we were so grateful!! It really elevated our trip.

Yes, it’s along the busy highway coming into Sedona, but quieted down over night. Wonderful view of Thunder Mountain! Would stay here again!

This was the perfect property for 2 adults for a week. We hiked most days and cozied up at night. The place was easy to find and was only a 10 minute drive to uptown Sedona and most hikes/activities that we did. Mary was also an incredible host. She greeted us upon check-in, and was readily available if we had any questions. One of the best parts was the binder of activities and restaurant recommendations that Mary has in the rental. This was incredibly helpful in planning each day’s activity. Also, the view of Thunder Mountain is breathtaking. Would definitely stay again if we were back in Sedona!

We hiked every day and cozied up every evening. The space accommodated us quite well and the owners were exceptionally responsive to our needs. We were not expecting to be right on the main road, and while the noise was not an issue (especially because the bedroom is in the back) it was noticeable and we wondered if it might be a problem in warmer months with windows open and/or we hung out at the property a lot more.

Unit has everything you need. Centrally located in West Sedona, beautiful view of the red rocks. Traffic noise is bad during the day but is quiet at night, when you will be serenaded by coyotes. Thank you Mary for checking in with us on our last day.

We didn’t really have to drive to different hikes. Everything was very nearby including the free bus routes. The view was interrupted by telephone wires but the magnificence of all the red rocks eclipsed it. Be prepared to lug your luggage up a flight of stairs. Inside was quite lovely and met all our needs for 3 nights.

We loved the location of this unit even though it was on a busy road. We would sit on the balcony and "people/car watch" and have a few drinks after a day of hiking. The bedroom was nice and quiet and the air conditioning worked very well! We were able to walk to many restaurants and the two breweries. This isn't in the busy "UPTOWN" area but we prefer it that way. We didn't get to meet Mary but we met her husband and check in was easy and he even showed us the place. We didn't cook so can't say anything about that but the unit looked to have everything you would need. As others have said it was so nice to provide us with the Red Rocks parking pass. Thank you Mary. We would definitely stay here again. If you're adventurous definitely talk to the guys downstairs at Can Am. We rented one for 4 hours and had a blast!

The location was great. Close to so many restaurants, trails, shopping, etc. Though it’s a very busy location, the 2nd floor room was very quiet. The biggest issue we had was that the room was listed as having a queen size bed but it clearly had a full size bed. I ended up sleeping on the couch for 2 nights. Also, we were told that the property manager was out of town and we were given a different phone number to contact if we had any questions. I sent 3 texts and never got a response. There was also no regular “live” TV to watch so we couldn’t watch much TV. Unfortunately not a great experience… glad it was only for 3 nights.

My partner and I stayed here for a few nights to explore Sedona and hike. The apartment itself was the perfect amount of space for the two of us, was very comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was convenient to everything. As others have said, it is busy during the day but the traffic dies down at night. It certainly did not wake me and I am a light sleeper. The host even provided a red rock state park pass in the guidebook. The weather was warm and the cooling in the apartment was very efficient. Mary was communicative and available while not being intrusive whatsoever. Check in and check out could not be more simple! This is one of our favorite places we’ve stayed because of how comfortable and effortless it made our visit. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a comfy little place to rest and reset after exploring Sedona.

Great location for a homebase to sleep and rest up before heading out to hikes, shopping or restaurants. Mary was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Be advised it is on the main road through Sedona, but it is quiet at night. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom has a nice double sink and large shower. Washer and dryer in the unit.

The unit was very well kept. The climate control would have worked better with a thermostat control for the cooling. It was hard to regulate. The location was very central, but there was a fair amount of traffic noise in the morning as the location was right on the highway. All of the amenities where taken care of when we arrived. Didn’t realize how spread out Sedona is. While we were in the West Sedona area, it was great for easy access to trails, good restaurants. Mary, our host, was available to give ideas, suggestions for meals. Golden Goose was a great choice, as well as Nick’s, across the street, was excellent for breakfast. Best advice from Mary—get out early for hikes in order to find a parking spot. Although located on a busy street with non stop traffic, the unit was quiet and well equiped
