San Michele

This boutique hotel was in a very good location with lovely views over the fishing harbour. There are several good restaurants in the fishing harbour including the hotel's own restaurant, so you don't have to venture very far at all in the evenings for dinner. The hotel is also within easy walking distance to the main town and port of Procida. The room we had was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was served in the hotel restaurant and was very fresh and plentiful. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you're planning some time on Procida.

Clean , well kept & well situated

wonderful location right on the water and in the most sought after spot in Prochida. The bed was super comfy and the room was well airconned with a gorgeous bathroom. We didn't eat there as we had to leave early but did have some fruit salad in the room. we had a shuttle collection from the ferry as we'd travelled from Naples and this made everything far easier. We arrived two hours before check in and they kindly let us into the room when it was ready a short while afterwards.

It feels a bit as if the location does all the work and so nothing else has quite hit the same level of service or care! with no coffee or kettle in the rooms and no lobby or communal area for guests, (there is a restaurant open to the public too at various times) there are no refreshments in the hotel after a hot journey or the ability to make a coffee in the morning. It also means staff aren't really around if you're keen to learn about how to go places or where to eat etc. (this may be part of the welcome if you speak Italian though which I sadly don't!) We also had a big stain on our white duvet which happens but isn't expected in a hotel of this price. the location is wonderful for a weekend but if you're looking to stay for a week or so you may want more info and space.
