Hotel Europa

The first room we were allocated was a bit small but once we mentioned it they moved us to another room straight away which was excellent. There was an organised boat trip for the hotel residents on the Wednesday to around the full island with a few stops during the trip. it was excellent and the 2 hosts and captain were very friendly, open and made a really fun trip of it. The breakfast in the morning was very good. We found the terrace on top of the hotel and this was brilliant to use during the 4 days.

There was only a Thermal pool in the hotel and the area around it was quite small. We used it once but did not use it after that because of the brown staining. no other pool available and the beach nearby was very busy, We could just go for a swim and then leave.

Location was perfect for Ischia Ponte, restaurants, bars, the castello all within a 5-7 mins walk.

This is such a special and stylish hotel! The room was very clean and had an unbelievable view of the castle (not to mention the incredible rooftop view which you can access throughout the day/evening). The family who owns the hotel and everyone who works here are kind, thoughtful, and clearly experienced in hospitality. I had rented a house in Lacco Ameno during a previous visit to Ischia, but I found that staying in Ischia Ponte made it much easier to explore the island and enjoyed walking around the area at night. The gorgeous boat tour and thermal pool felt special and unique. I hope to come back and bring other family members here. I highly recommend this very chic and understated hotel!
