This is a good sized property and fairly well maintained. Clean and tidy. The host was very friendly and lived nearby so was on hand if there was anything we needed but nothing was required. Will stay here again as it was homely and pleasant.

Good quiet location with good shopping nearby. Probably better to have a car as bus services and shopping is quite a walk. Very well equipped kitchen with nice small garden to rear which can be used for sitting outside.

If I could have scored this host zero stars, I would have!
There was an unpleasant odour throughout the ground floor of the property. As such we decided we did not wish to stay. I had made the booking for myself and my parents who are both in their 80s. We returned the keys to the property host, within a few minutes of our arrival and explained our reason for not staying. The host was somewhat puzzled and surprised that there was an odour and recommended that we apply for a refund via the website.
Upon our return, we took the action recommended by the property host and messaged him requesting a refund.
After four days we had not received a reply, subsequently we sent the property host a text message requesting a reply. Quite frankly, we should not have bothered. The reply we received was unprofessional and offensive.
The host stated in his reply that he and his wife went back over to the house and that there was absolutely no smell. He also stated that they asked a neighbour to come into the house and the neighbour agreed there was no smell.
This was not as we found the property and some people's sense of smell is different and you can become accustomed to particular odours. We did not take offence at this, however we were paying guests of the host and his statement simply dismisses our experience of the property.
However what we did find offensive was that, the property host then went on to say in his reply that their assumption was that we lied about the unpleasant smell and because my father, who after a long car journey, needed assistance to enter the property, and in their assumption that he would not be able to climb the stairs. The host then states "...you should have booked a bungalow, all houses have stairs".
A totally unacceptable, unprofessional attitude displayed by the property host. Accuses my mother of being a liar. Shows discrimination against my father.
Important note: at no point did we go to the host and demand a refund. It was our decision not to stay at the property. It was the property host who first said we should apply for a refund and that is what we did. We then receive this reply, disgraceful.
My recommendation to any potential guest would be not to stay at this property or have any dealings with this host.

Lovely area and quiet neighbourhood. Spacious house with good kitchen facilities. Nice to have the outdoor seating areas as the weather was scorching. Short walk to the station. Hosts were very friendly. Unfortunately the O2 phone signal was very patchy but this didn't really affect our holiday. Would visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was like a home from home. There were plenty of lovely beaches to visit and Bournemouth was easily accessible by train as the house was two minutes from the train station with a regular service.. The New Forest was great for walking. Our hosts were lovely and helpful. Many thanks. Highly recommend.

We all enjoyed our stay at this well equipped, comfortable house. Our hosts were very thoughtful and regular fresh towels and bedding were really appreciated. We loved picking the fresh beans from the garden too! We like this area and it didn't disappoint this time. Paddle boarding at Mudeford Quay is a must and safe for all ages in the shallow water..Thank you so much!

We booked this accommodation for a few days away for a family wedding at the local Sopley Mill. Location was perfect. We felt very welcomed. Lovely and peaceful neighbourhood. The owners couldn’t do more for you. The house is clean throughout and has everything you would need for a short or longer stay. The garden is well maintained and a lovely sun trap. A short walk to the train station. Walking distance to the harvester. Visited nearby Christchurch and high cliffe both beautiful places. Would thoroughly recommend and would use again.

We stayed here for three weeks while looking for a more permanent home in the area. It was a nice place to stay and perfectly adequate for our needs. Not all that close to local amenities, but beach is walkable and it's fine if you have a car. Owner is local, friendly and helpful. He let us store our bicycles in his adjacent garage /workshop. Fresh linen and towels changed every week, which was nice.

Property was clean and well-maintained. Kitchen had been thoughtfully set up. Central heating was effective as the nights were turning cold. The owners were extremely helpful, and live a few doors away. They let us keep our bikes and bike rack in the garage. Nice small garden to sit in, as a suntrap. Close to station but the trains are hard to hear, especially inside the house.
