One or two days is perfect. Quiet and very well organised.

We couldn’t stay , to charge £100 was an insult and would like a refund

The room was through a garage workshop and the room was in the garage , to access the toilet you had to go through the kitchen and lounge , it smelt of stale cigarette smoke as the owner was a smoker , we stank after being there for a few minutes , felt the room was a fire risk , we couldn’t stay there

Ok, but overpriced for tired facilities.

It was clean and the location was good for what we needed.

Host didn't mention cooked breakfast needed to be ordered the night before either upon arrival or in the message during the afternoon. Hundreds of photos of random people in the rooms and around the house. Feels like you're intruding. Far too many rooms for a shared bathroom. The bathroom is very 80's, the shower has zero power. Privacy poor, walking from the room to bathroom, you'd see kids peering round their door watching you. Double bed was small and mattress thin, old thin towels. Power sockets consist of extension leads plugged into extension leads. All a bit sketchy. If this was a bargain price, I wouldn't mind, but with the Travelodge down the road at the same price, it isn't good value for money. It's more like a hostel and should be at least half the price they charge.

Lovely friendly host. Comfortable bed and lots of variety at breakfast. Good base for exploring the area out of the hustle and bustle of the bigger local towns.

Lovely overnight stay with my small show dog in a lovely clean and well equipped room.

There was a place to park my car on the front of the house. My room was upstairs the overall impression was a well organised, clean and tidy house. The Owner was very helpful with helping me sort out the Wifi on my mobile. My room was a very smart and clean, well equipped single room, the bathroom was just across the hall. I had everything that I needed in my room, including a TV, microwave, plates, mini fridge, Tea/coffee making facilities with complimentary biscuits and good storage, the bed was very comfortable and there was a bedside cabinet with a power supply right beside the bed for my CPAP machine and a lamp, I could not rate the breakfast as I had to leave early. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this place especially to students as they have dorm rooms with bunk beds for multiple occupancy or families. The property is in a good area and very convenient for visiting the New Forest and surrounding areas.

Too be honest I could not find fault at all.

Great Value and Friendly Stay in the Christchurch Area!

The whole stay was great, it was a short-notice booking but David could not have been more pleasant and friendly on check-in and throughout my stay. The accommodation was clean and tidy and the breakfast was really good too so I was very happy with everything.

The host was helpful. The cost was good.

The room being in a garage conversion. Wasn't clear about breakfast, said breakfast included when booking, but had to book and pay for cooked breakfast, didn't know or get told till the morning. Got informed had to book it the night before. Would be helpful to say that when booking online or when I spoke to him on the phone. The bed was small for a couple.

Clean rooms, friendly host

David is an excellent host, he waited for us at arrival. He was kind and welcoming, the upstairs rooms were simple but comfortable and clean. Sheets and towels were fresh, beds comfortable. One bathroom and one extra toilet served us well for a one night stay. We booked all the rooms for a family trip, so it was okay to share the bathroom. The breakfast was in a friendly, family-like atmosphere, lots of cereal to choose from and plentiful croissant, toast and jam. The house was warm at night and not far from the beach. Microwave, kettle and cups and plates in all rooms, host did all the washing up for us. (Guests have no use of the kitchen). We came on a nice spring day, so all nine of us could eat in the garden, the host readily providing all the necessary chairs and cushions. Otherwise there is no communal space to spend time together. At booking one must realize that it is not a whole house to use, just bedrooms.

The arrangement of rooms downstairs is rather funny, to access the double room (sleeping three, double bed with an extra bed) we had to either walk through the host's living room, kitchen and study or go out the front door and access it through the path from the garden. This was rather inconvenient at night as the toilet was accessible through the same route. The house is dated, in need of refurbishment, shower has hardly any pressure. Lots of extension leads everywhere.

The breakfast was very enjoyable. My son very much enjoyed it also. The location of the hotel was why I chose the vicinity. My son wanted to stay longer and for more than the one night. We both slept well.

There was some minor but irritating noise periodically in the kitchen and office area adjacent to the bedroom. I went to bed at nine, which is very early for me, when my son did, but I probably stayed awake for the next 2 hours. The bedroom door rattled ever so distractingly and often.

The most comfortable bunk bed I've ever slept on. Kettle, Microwave, plates, bowl and cutlery. Everything you need. A short walk to the beach, close to a Sainsbury's Supermarket and not too far from Christchurch either.

Amazing!

Small but very cosy and nice rooms for 2 people. Microwave, kettle, cute little fridge, tea, coffee etc in room. The house is lovely. If I’m young student I would definitelly come for a few weeks learning english. Host was also lovely. The atmosphere was really nice there. All great. 100% recomended.
