The comfortable bed and the room south facing

The plugs in the room were to low down as you had to move the bedside cabinets and single bed to plug in phones and laptops etc they should have been higher for easy access

Really enjoyed our stay. I loved that single use plastic was completely absent - refills for the shower, glass bottle milk from the farm, homemade jam etc. Breakfast was excellent, Jayne was very helpful and friendly

Very well run B&B

Jayne was a great hostess and very helpful with local recommendations and help with bus timetables etc. The house was stylish and well maintained with plenty of parking . Our room and ensuite were spotless. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The honesty bar and lounge was a nice touch too.

Nothing really. We had a ground floor room and could hear the occupants of the room above moving about around 6.30am. But this didn't overly bother us.

Don’t hesitate to book – it is perfect We stayed for three nights and everything about this bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations. The host, Jayne, was absolutely excellent – warm and welcoming without ever being overbearing. She has a real attention to detail, and it shows in every aspect of the stay. From thoughtful suggestions on things to do in the area, to the small touches that made us feel completely looked after, nothing was overlooked. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Each night we returned to find full service: fresh towels, replenished tea, coffee, and cookies – those little touches that make such a difference. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, with a delicious cooked option alongside a fresh fruit salad and cereals etc. The host is clearly a perfectionist in the best possible way, ensuring guests feel both comfortable and cared for. It’s rare to find a place where the small things are done so well, and it really elevated our experience. Highly recommended – you won’t regret staying here!

Location was great, I was visiting family. Host was lovely & welcoming. I only had small bite for breakfast as I was joining family for breakfast. But the breakfast the other guests had looked very good

A thoroughly wonderful stay that exceeded our expectations!

Jayne was an amazing host! She was friendly, helpful and went out of her way to make sure our room and bedding were clean to accommodate our child’s dustmite allergy. She also provided an excellent breakfast with a lovely spread of continental breakfast items along with home baked bread and hot cooked breakfast, fully accommodating my food intolerances too. We felt very spoiled! The room was fantastic too with modern and well equipped en-suite shower room and plenty of storage space. Strongly recommended!

Jayne was wonderful host it was like home from home . She was caring to peoples needs from caring chat to birthday cake at breakfast . Such a lovely lady and fabulous place to stay . We will defo be back

The rooms and toilet were really clean, lovely presented and it has extras like dressing gowns and coffee facilities. The location was ideal to go to Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and Mortehoe. The service was excepcional and breakfast fantastic. A lovely experience!!
