Lovely lodge, lovely location, shame about the cleanliness
The location was ideal for us, we have friends who live nearby so it didn’t take us long to get to them. The actual lodge was spacious and had everything we needed.
We didn’t dislike the place but just a few criticisms. At the front door the bag with the laundry bags in it was still full of the previous occupants bedsheets and towels, the dishwasher was still full and hadn’t been emptied. The front of the fridge was covered in handprints so hadn’t been wiped down. The tv took a couple of days to suss out, couldn’t get any terrestrial channels at all, there was no instructions for it that we could find. The en-suite shower was so hot you couldn’t even touch the water as it was red hot and you would have scalded yourself. I saw reviews from 2 years ago pointing out this problem, so a bit baffled as to why it hasn’t been sorted as it’s a shame that you have the luxury of an en-suite but it can’t be used because of this problem. The main bathroom was very dusty around the toilet and sink and we found a kids toy behind the toilet left from a previous occupant. We kind of felt that the only thing that had been done before our arrival was that clean bed linen and towels were provided. Such a shame that your cleaning staff are obviously not doing their jobs properly. One last suggestion would be that you maybe have a higher screen around the hot tub for privacy. We didn’t pay for the hot tub and quite glad because I don’t think I would have used it with the neighbours being able to sit in their lounge area and looking straight onto it. We all like a little bit of privacy when relaxing in the tub. We would come back because overall the lodges are a great size and have everything that you need and in a great location, you just need to get your cleaners doing their jobs properly.

No hot tub prepared, don’t believe in tittle is not included.
Says with hot tub but the hot tub wasn’t included try to contact park they passed the message to someone who is responsible but no call or explanation is received why the hot tub wasn’t prepared. Wouldn’t even buy the stay if hot tub wasn’t mentioned but obviously this is how people are scam…
