Location on the Royal Mile was very close to everything. Instructions very good for obtaining access and Craig was excellent with being able to contact.
We were up the top of the building. Lots of stirs with suitcases and cabin bags for elderly people. No lift access.

The vicinity was excellent and beds were comfy. Nice heating controls so the place was cosy. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen if you wanted to cook etc
The entrance area, up 37 concrete steps and the hallway was not pleasant. Flat OK when you got in but in need of updating, carpets frayed and the flip top bin did not "flip" there was a piece of string attached to use to open the bin! Also there was a smell of gas from the fire in the lounge and there were no plugs in suitable places to use to dry hair and be able to look in a mirror at the same time.
