La chouette d'or

The property is beautiful and well located for super easy access into the centre of Dijon.

The photographs showing the access for the parking fob lock box are wrong and caused a lot of stress after an 8 hour drive at 11pm at night.

The location is superb with it being a short walk to the heart of the city. It’s a characterful building with the main door entrance.

It can be slightly noisy with it being next to the main front door but no great inconvenience.

Very sweet apartment and reasonably equipped.

No soap provided in the shower, and the soap at the bathroom sink had been significantly diluted to the point it was virtually ineffective. The instructions post reservation for us included: gathering the towels, which for such a small space was unnecessary, taking out the trash, which was a first, as was their requirement to wash the dishes of which consisted of three glasses, a knife and small plate. The photo of the apartment was not the apartment given to us. FYI the kitchen faucet is quite loose, which should have been noticed and fixed, and no paper towels provided.

No breakfast provided but wasn't looking for it. The stay was convenient to shopping and the downtown area. Bathroom was clean and spacious, and kitchen was nice as well.

Had to put a $500 hold on a credit card for any possible damage and don't recall being told that when I booked. Room smelled of smoke which was not acceptable. The security of the site was poor. Front door to courtyard was broken and did not lock. Courtyard entrance was not kept. Door lock on our room was hard to open and lock. We were told that we would receive a link to pay for parking in an area around the corner which we never received. The photos of the parking area showed a gate to protect the cars, but the gate had been removed. I paid for parking in an underground garage. All in all, it was underwhelming and I would have chosen another location.
