Enjoy a peaceful week in our home in the Cotswolds. Pretty house located in the unspoiled village of Winson, one of the most beautiful villages in the heart of the Coln Valley, close to Bibury, Barnsley and Cirencester.

Mill Bank House sleeps 10 people (plus 2 on the sofa bed by request), with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, large kitchen/breakfast room, comfortable reception room and TV/playroom (with kingsize sofa bed) with linen and towels provided.

Winson is a quintessential Cotswold village with numerous walks and bike rides throughout some of the most beautiful countryside in Gloucestershire. Within a short drive, we have Bourton on the Water, Cheltenham, Stow on the Wold, Cotswold Wildlife Park, Chedworth Roman Villa, Cirencester Park Polo, Burford, Dalesford Organic, Sudeley Castle and of course some excellent pubs! We are also close to Far Peak which offers a climbing wall, camping, bike hire, padel courts, cafe, beautician, physio and an excellent gym.

Mill Bank House offers you a peaceful and relaxing time in our comfortable home, ideally suited to couples or families.
*We are also 1/4 a mile from Cripps Barn, wedding venue.
*Please note, we have a 1 week minimum during school holidays.

Very well furnished cozy cottage. We stayed with 10 of us, three families and the space worked perfectly. The very large kitchen/dining area worked perfectly for eating together, and cooking in the kitchen was easy as it was fully stocked with all the cooking equipment needed. Also the multiple reception rooms worked really well so everyone could find their own space. The pretty garden overlooking the sheep would be gorgeous in the summer- the kids loved running around outside. Would highly recommend a stay here!

A group of 12 of us stayed here as our friends were getting married down the road and I can't even explain how perfect it was from start to finish. Our host was brilliant at communicating with me, ensuring the property was set up for our needs, as we were 6 couples and needed double rooms only. I even received a pack to my emails the night before with EVERYTHING you'd need to know about the house and area. Meaning we felt right at home even before we arrived. Check-in couldn't have been easier, there was plenty of parking and the house and gardens were simply stunning. The dressing room attached to the master bedroom was an extra treat for the 5 groomsmen and groom the morning of the wedding, the log burning fire was gorgeous the day after when we were all slightly worse for ware and the large social areas of the home made the perfect spot for us all to gather. Our host had even left us some essentials in the fridge for when we arrived, meaning there was no delay in having a cup of tea after our long journey to get there! Checking out was no different, easy and quick! Once we got home, we realised we left a few bits behind by mistake and our host was more than happy to send it off in the post for it to be returned to us. The property was perfect, and made our weekend! Thank you so much. I couldn't recommend this beautiful home more! I only wish we had longer!

Stayed with family at the property for a 60th birthday. It met all expectations and Heidi the host was extremely helpful and allowed us early check in and late check out. Would definitely recommend the property to friends if they are thinking of visiting the Cotswolds.

House and Garden absolutely Beautiful Wonderful space for all of the family and not far from Whalley Farm where my daughters wedding was being held Heidi amazing host communication was fab through out we had a slight problem and she was at the house in no time at all x Only negative was cleaners were not the greatest but it didn’t spoil our visit Would definitely re-book already planning next years visit xx

Our family of 10 adults stayed at the Mill Bank house and loved every single minute of our stay. We were blown away by the beauty, peace, cleanliness and charm of the village of Winson and this magnificent property. Our mother cried upon arriving as she was so taken back by the beauty. Everything about the stay was perfect, including our host.

We had a lovely stay in Heidi's home. It fit the 10 of us very comfortably and every bedroom was a great size. It's in a perfect location and a good distance from many places guests would like to visit. The communication was excellent throughout and we'll be sure to stay here again! Many thanks.

Spacious, very well equipped and beautifully decorated. It is perfect for a large group but with spaces to break away into smaller groups. The kitchen is perfect for hanging out in - around the island and at the long table. All the bedrooms were spacious and tastefully presented. The beds and pillows were very comfy. A lovely neat garden which is secure for dogs and a nice view. A quiet location with walks from the doorstep.

We had a family get together including 18 month old grandchild. House has plenty of space for everyone, fabulously comfy beds and they have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. I would definitely recommend for a group stay, with plenty of bathrooms. It is very secluded but within easy reach of all the major "must see"places.

We had a multi generation family break, stayed 3 nights. Winson is a small quiet village and the property is close to a couple of short walks. Really good kitchen, well equipped for family cooking. Property was clean but not spotless, could do with some TLC. The garden was great for climbing trees and playing football.

The cottage was ideal for our family get together. The location of the cottage and setup of rooms was perfect, so much space. There was a problem with the hot water which was resolved and sorted by the owners very quickly so no disruption to our stay. Would definitely recommend for large groups.

We had a great weekend away in this lovely house. It’s rural but as we were meeting for our annual get together that suited us. It was close enough for us to get a take away and then go out Saturday night in Cirencester. Fantastic to have a house that could have so many single beds. Only slight criticisms were a few cobwebs around the house and the mugs were too small for our tea, otherwise there was everything there that could be needed. A beautiful garden and great communication with Heidi. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Just what we were after peace and quiet and comfortable, luxurious surroundings. Heidi was really helpful in lending is a hairdryer and a top sheet at last minute. It is very roomy and lovely decor. Views from every window. Bed was super comfortable in master and king size, so we slept well. Bathrooms are good, with strong shower pressure. We loved the garden most. It was so lovely to sit out and enjoy the beautiful flowers, note that the yard is overlooked from the roadway but that didn't present a problem to us. Winson is a lovely village, no pub or services but nearby Bibury and Fossecross were close enough. We would defintely visit again.

We had a family wedding in Bibury and booked this property well in advance as it was June. On arrival the drive has a range of wild flowers scattered in the court yard. The property it’s self is large and has everything you need for your stay. There was a welcome pack, bread, eggs, milk, coffee, tea, sugar. The bedding on all beds were of good quality and the beds were all very comfy. We would definitely stay again. Heidi the owner was very quick at responding to any questions we had and sent over helpful information a week before we arrived. Brill job Heidi. We rate our stay as 5*. The only down side ladies. Only one full length mirror and advise you take your makeup mirrors. There are mirrors but not in right place for makeup. If your thinking of booking. Do it!!!! Beautiful x

From the moment we requested the rental a year ago to the actual stay Heidi the host has been amazing. Her communications and replies to requests are always dealt with promptly and nothing has been too much trouble. The house was perfectly situated for our Daughters wedding at Old Gore Barn and we stayed here prior to and after wedding day. It is a beautiful house with stunning gardens that are lovely to sit in in the sun. The space easily accommodated 10 adults and we had lots of space. Even when wedding preparations were under way with hairdresser and makeup artist we never felt cramped. The house has everything you could think you need and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The beds are so comfortable and some us had the best nights sleep we had had in a while. Would thoroughly recommend hiring this stunning property if you have a wedding in one of the local barns. If you want somewhere special for the bridal Party this house is definitely IT! Alternatively me and my friends would like to return to relax and enjoy the surroundings. There was some lovely countryside walks which we didn’t have the time to appreciate fully. Thankyou for allowing us to share your beautiful house.
